Parish Lanes at UxBowl — Restaurant in Uxbridge

This is truly a magnificent place and a perfect setting to bring parents and their kids closer together in a fun-loving atmosphere and a little friendly competitive excersize can teach the little ones that you don't always win but it's the fun you have trying that counts. It's got great Birthday Party packages and lane bookings, leagues and that's just on the bowling side. There is an arcade which is rare these days with classics such as Battle 1944 (or is it 42?) Lol and the much loved Cruisin USA racing simulators from the 1990s that just brought the biggest smile to my face. There are carnival like prizes as well that some of the games that run on tokens reward the players with. Last but not least there is a spacious pool room with 4 tables and 2 dart boards. It is a "bring your own darts" policy and the pool tables run on loonies. There are flat screen t.v.'s offered for extra entertainment so you can watch your favorite sports team still if your dragged by the wife/husband to a kids party that isn't your own. Lol. There is a lot of good items on the menu and if Larry the manager happens to be the one cooking your burger, it's the best burger in town. The poutine is served with a generous amount of cheese and gravy. The environment is clean and kid friendly and the service is great, the staff are super kind and willing to help out with anything you require to have a great family fun experience. Don't have a family? Too young for kids but too old for the arcade? (If that's possible let me know) come in on a Friday or Saturday night when the lights ae low and the glow in the dark and disco balls are in full swing, bring some buddies and have a nice cold Tall boy of locally brewed beer such as I.P.A, Old Flame, (usually the Red is on hand) and the frequently requested Highgrass beer. It's got a summertime taste with a hint of something good in the aftertaste. What it is, I don't know, but it's local and it's good and it's available pretty much all the time. Everyone that goes there on the Friday and Saturday nights are usually local regulars and there is nothing but good people in the area. I'd pick Parish Lanes over any other Bowling Alley in Durham or...

Sooo expensive.. we thought we paid for 2 games and surprisingly, our time ran out in the middle of our 2nd game. It's cost 50$ for 1 hour +3$ per shoe rental + tip (optional) = 75$ then we had to pay another 25$ to finish our 2nd game. The staff and service was great, but we left at 10 30 and not 1 person was bowling on a Sat night. All the young adults were playing pool for 2 $ a game. Wouldn't it make sense,, to lower the price and have more people come , as to hiking the price and no one...
