It was our first time at @26 Viet cafe. We came on the recommendation of our family member. The place is very clean and bright. A lot of spaces for big parties. We had the traditional Vietnamese iced coffees and their special salted caramel cream iced coffee. Both were delicious. The ice coffee is just the right sweetness and I liked how they bring the ice separately so you can add your own desired amount and the coffee doesn’t get watered down. For appetizers we had the appetizer platter, and also the beef carpaccio. The beef carpaccio The sauce the right balance of sweet and salty and with the parsley and crunchy garlic (or maybe onion) was the perfect combo. As for the appetizer platter both the salad rolls and also the spring roll (with taro) were excellent. The peanut sauce had just the right amount of peanut taste and it wasn’t over powering. The server recommend their signature beef noodle soup and we also went for the spicy beef and pork soup noodles. The signature beef noodle soup-the broth was very tasty and rich. unlike many other places you don’t get the super thirsty reaction after eating the noodles soup. The beef and pork spicy soup had a good kick once you start eating it and it had the perfect type of noodle that came with it. Overall all of the portion sizes were very generous and all the dishes were very fresh and great prices as well! Lastly we loved how the bathrooms are extremely clean and they had the best hand creams for the customer to use after you wash your hands! My hands smelled so nice!! We would highly recommend dining here when you are in the area and we will for sure come here again in the near future! 5...
Read moreWe had heard that their chicken wings were only $1 each and supposedly similar to the legendary Phnom Penh wings, so naturally, our curiosity was piqued. At first, we were a little skeptical. Sometimes promotions like this come with strings attached, such as a high minimum order or a minimum spend, but to our pleasant surprise, there were no such restrictions — we could simply order the wings on their own.
When the wings arrived, it was clear they weren’t a copy of Phnom Penh’s. Instead, they had their own distinct style and personality. The skin was wonderfully crispy, but not greasy, and the seasoning was lighter than we expected. They didn’t rely heavily on MSG or overly salty spices, which gave them a cleaner, healthier taste. The garlic and onion flavors came through beautifully, adding a warm, savory depth that made every bite satisfying.
We loved that they struck a balance between indulgent and light — perfect for an afternoon snack without leaving you feeling weighed down. Between the five of us, we ordered 20 wings and shared a single coffee, making it a surprisingly affordable and delicious mid-afternoon treat.
Service was another highlight. Our waitress was warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, I would give this place a solid 5 stars — not just for the wings, but for the relaxed atmosphere, fair pricing, and genuine hospitality. We’ll definitely be back, and next time, I might just skip lunch to make room for even more of those crispy,...
Read moreThe food wasn’t bad but the service was lacking. We came in around 6pm and ordered within 5 minutes. Two other tables came in 10-15 minutes later and sat beside us. They ordered and their food came before ours.
We ordered the special pho, bun bo hue, garlic beef carpaccio, and wings.
I got my bun bo hue first and ate for around 15 minutes until I started noticing the tables next to us getting their wings and special pho, the same food that we ordered. So when we asked about our special pho, they brought us another bun bo hue almost immediately, which was the wrong soup. We had to wait again. Overall it took 30 minutes from the time the bun bo hue came until the bowl of special pho came. Had we not asked about it, we probably would not have gotten it. I get that they may be busy but as they dropped off the food, they didn’t clear the empty dishes so it piled up on our table. We had to stack the plates to make room for the special pho.
They also had this “create your own combo” but you need to order item one from each category, making this combo an additional $13 - $20 depending on what appetizer, drink, and dessert you choose. Sooo ultimately, it’s not really a deal and you can’t just “add on” one item to make it a combo. But it also isn’t specified on the menu that you must order all three. Anyways, I ordered this shortly after receiving the bun bo hue and it never arrived. I even waited 10 minutes after my husband finished his special pho so I decided to just...
