I have heard some good things about this place and decided to try it out with my friend. I had my expectations high, and it didn't disappoint. I will break this review down in 3 categories, which consists of customer service, food, and lastly, the atmosphere.

Atmosphere was alright, nothing too surprising. It is a little tiny shop that has a lot of boxes around. Seating was alright but not the most comfortable, while the ambiance proved to keep me awake from waiting for my food.

Customer service was sub-par but in an acceptable way due to the 3 person staff having to run the entire restaurant. Water and two cups were brought to us, which is standard, but everything else was up to us. We thought that we got to order at our table, but we were deeply mistaken and had to order for ourselves in the front counter, get back to our seats and wait patiently for our food to arrive.

When the food arrived, I was mindblown on how fresh and juicy chicken looked on the outside. The cheese snow chicken was what I ordered, and it did not disappoint a bit. Cheese powder had that nice pronounced seasoned and artificial cheese taste that you find with cheese snow chicken, and inside is plump, juicy, tender, and flavorful. My friend had similar results with his order except that the yang nyeom sauce was a bit too powerful for our liking, to the point where you don't taste anything else but the sauce. Fries were nice and crisp, unseasoned, and there was a large quantity (because we ordered the large portions)

Overall, it was a fine experience if you were looking for some good tasting korean fried chicken in Vancouver. I would give this place a 3, but the chicken elevates the rating by another star. The only major gripe is that the environment seems cluttered, uncomfortable seating, and the customer service proved to be a bit satisfactory. Otherwise, just for the fried chicken, it is worth investing some of your time to try this spot out for the chicken alone! I would recommend this spot to friends and family if you want korean fried chicken, but the dine in experience won't...

I ordered some chicken for delivery, with expectations a bit elevated thanks to the overall positive reviews for this place. This place is not a cut above, and in fact, I'd rank it as inferior unfortunately.

I thought the Yang-nyeom chicken would be sure bet, but it has a very odd spicing and unpalatable sauce. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that boullion cubes were used to spice the chicken. There's a distinct 'microwave chicken noodle soup' flavour that I was really surprised, and revolted, to notice. The sauce has an overly thick gooey globby industrial sort of texture that makes me picture bags of cornstarch being tossed indiscriminately into the mixture.

The crust is also too think, though there is a decent amount of meat overall. Thing is I wish I could return it, but now I'm stuck with the unappetizing leftovers. It's like eating dried instant chicken soup, or maybe a bag of knock-off Durritos. The flavour of the chicken itself is obliterated by the heinous spice atrocity described above.

It's overall a terrible deal. After tax, delivery fee, tip I dropped $30 for this, and I won't be doing that again. I have eaten a lot of Korean food, including fried chicken, and this reminds me much more of Chinese food and the cooking sensibility one finds in some Chinese restaurants. Let me put it this way, I'd be really surprised in fact if it is actually...

EDIT Okay a few months later and this place has gone to sh**....Wow. It's really quite sad actually. I've dined here a number of times and the quality of food has gotten worse each time however not horrible, just not as good as when they first opened. Tonight, they "forgot" about my order. I placed my order at 5:13pm, scheduled it for 6:00pm pick up time and walked in the door at 6:01pm. How do you forget about someone's order? I can't forgive them for this mistake this time. This was the last chance for this restaurant. I ordered a soy garlic, original and the hot yangnyeom chicken along with two orders of coleslaw. My order was of a fair amount. I've actually never had this happen to me with any restaurant....This really ruins my mood as I've been waiting for fifteen minutes. The reputation for this restaurant is no longer positive in my eyes.

This is the best Korean Fried Chicken in Vancouver, hands down. You are my new go to....

Could 350F chicken be in the top 10 of fried chicken sando in Vancouver? Dare I say top 5? If you’re a fried chicken sando connoisseur then you should definitely try their fried chicken burger. What you get is a ridiculously oversized piece of fried chicken perfectly crispy and seasoned with a mild kick of spicy heat. On top is a generous amount of what seems to be creamy garlic sauce and on the inside is a perfectly cooked tender and juicy piece of dark meat. All this goodness stacked between a bun with chopped sweet pickles. Each bite is a perfection of salty , crispy , chickeny, heat , sweetness and the creamy garlic sauce ! I think next time I will order a side of coleslaw and put it inside the sandwich to make it even more over the top! Everything is made to order so if you dine in food is served piping hot and fresh. Didn’t try anything else this time but will definitely return.
