Where do I start … walking along the street we were accosted when looking at the photos of the dishes on the wall. Thought being by the sea the calamari and chips with salad would be nice. Menus were pushed into our hands and seated on the side of a busy road with cars backfiring and racing along the road. Waited half an hour and still no food yet they served a couple of dozen take always. Finally asked about our dish and they had forgotten. Owner apologised and wanted to give us our drinks for free but we said we would pay and would get the dish as takeaway.

We had just arrived from Australia and I was jet lagged with no sleep for 24 hours. I handed over some currency and when I received the colourful Canadian dollars I realised my mistake and insisted I have my USD50 back and then I gave him the correct currency. Totally unethical when I already told him I was jet lagged when waiting for the dish, to not admit I had made a mistake…so he was virtually going to pocket CAD25 extra due to currency exchange differences.

When we opened the calamari at the beach it was disgusting. Fried so much it was rubbery and brown not golden brown. The chips were non-existent instead horrible yellow coloured rice with Lebanese type bread with a tiny salad that repeated on me all night due to so much onion and sauce in the dressing. There was one tiny piece of feta that was crumbled over the two slices of tomato.

DO NOT GO THERE - terrible food, unethical dealing with jet lagged traveller, loud music and cars zooming past that with one wrong oversteer could...

I don't usually give bad grades, on the contrary but this was one of my favorite places but today I was disappointed. my husband and I peddled two plates of Putine and beef, nowhere on the menu said that it came with spicy so I did not think it necessary to specify but my surprise was that they arrived with spicy, my husband could not finish his plate, I finish mine almost on strength because he was very hungry, I think that if they are going to add this type of seasoning to the dishes they should put it in the menu or put them on the table and that the customer uses it to his liking I also didn't like the strawberry smoothies we ordered, it really looked like water although thanks to that I was able to eat my Putine The girl who attended us very slowly and really zero empathy we were more than 20 minutes waiting for the bill to be kept. The table where we sat didn't smell like a wet dog, it really wasn't nice. When I met this place it was in winter and I was deprived because of the good attention, food and attention given to us by some brothers who worked there those days, today I think they have a great place because the staff there is does not have enough to attend properly and create a better space, I hope if one day I return even if I do not believe it are those wonderful brothers...

Ok so this my experience. We were walking by and the guy outside gave us a menu and told us the specials. Right away I noticed the prices were higher than it should be. On the way back we decided to get some fries as it was almost dinner time anyways . I was joking that guy with the creepy fake smile would do a 180 if we only ordered fries. We got there and I walked by him and into the restaurant…he was right on my heals with the menu with that fake smile. I told him all we wanted was fries. He litterally right away looked annoyed and said small or large. Then whips the cc machine and after I paid flatly told us to go wait over there. We waited at one of the tables and he litterally stood there and stared at us… it was a bit uncomfortable. We waited almost 20 mins for the fries and he brought it over and just gave jt us without a thankyou. We won’t be coming back.

Owner - you should read these reviews and see that everyone says the same negative thing about you…but you don’t care probably because most of your customers are tourist who won’t be coming back...
