It’s delicious - but… La Pache came in first in round one of the Georgia Straight drafts: best pizza in vancouver. I had high expectations. Let me tell you it’s absolutely delicious. The sauce is truly fantastic and the toppings I got were cooked perfectly. I liked the crust and almost everything about it. But what stops me from giving it a five, and to be honest it’s a bigger deal than just losing one star (but the pizza is so good it makes up for it) is the cheese. I just don’t understand it. It is a glob or two and if you’re lucky three of congealed cheese and only on certain parts of the slice. I simply don’t understand why there isn’t cheese in every bite. How is...

Everything about this place is great. The staff are always welcoming and genuinely friendly, and the whole space is always very clean. You can see how much pride they put into what they do. Every pizza is made with care, and you can taste it.

The crust has that perfect balance of crisp and chew, the toppings are fresh and layered just right, and the garlic dip is hands down the best in the city.

Easily one of the best pizza spots in Vancouver.
