This place is really a hidden gem and it's my new discovery and newfound love. Although it's quite far away from where I live, I have already come here three days in a row. The place is small but has a great vibe. The music, green plants, and colorful walls make it come alive. Especially the staff, who are all friendly. Their shrimp sandwiches are my favorite. The shrimp is fresh, and the smooth avocados and crispy grilled sourdough make a great combination for every bite. I'll try their salads and breakfast next time. It's worth traveling far to be here. * updated:Yesterday, I came here around 3:30 pm and discovered that all the salads had been sold out. Today, I arrived earlier, at around 12:30 pm, but encountered a long line, and once again found that the salads had sold out. However, I'm grateful that one of the male staff members was willing to ask the chef to prepare a salad for me. He also informed me that I could call ahead to reserve a salad. So, if you're planning to visit, make sure to arrive early or call ahead since the place is quite popular and busy during lunch hours.

I've been on a quest for kebab and shawarma for a long time as Vancouver is seriously underwhelming in that regard compared to Europe. Their kebab lunch wrap was delicious. Plenty of tasty meat (grilled beef kubideh I believe), spices, herbs (basil) and veg (some dried and fresh tomatoes mix, onions) and white sauce. It is only served on Fridays and certain seasons it seems (they didn't have it on the menu during summer) so may want to call in to check but they will kindly offer to keep one on the side got you. Note the photo is half portion as I sliced it to share with my partner. Single portion feeds one hungry person and I found it of great value at $12.55 after tax.

A hidden coffee shop for anyone who loves coffee. I had the decaf Spanish latte and fell in love with it. The subtle sweetness and creamy taste are just perfect for this Fall season. My coworker also recommends the Chai drink as it's one of the best around here. I would definitely recommend to drop by if you are in the neighborhood. Parking here can be difficult as they have street parking and paid around the corner. Also the area around this shop has improved but stay safe.

I’ve been enjoying Eden Cafe’s food now for the past two weeks since I’ve begun working in the neighborhood. Today, I ordered to go my usual chicken sandwich that they made from scratch as they had none on display - this act was very kind.

I asked for the soup and sandwich special as I was peculiarly hungry; however, my soup bowl to-go was half full. Opening my soup bowl was disappointing when reaching my workspace as I am limited on time for breaks.

Next time I am ordering soup to-go, I will ask for it to be full. Overall, good soup...
