Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Vancouver

My wife and I went and bought 2 boxes of buster bars today and shared some with family. To all our our surprise there was almost no fudge at all in them except for a dot if u were to take the total fudge in all of them and it wouldn't make the total of 1 at any other dq . There is no way this was an accident. This was either done itentionaly to save on cost or they just didn't have it and decided to make them anyway. My brother had never had 1 so when I asked if his had fudge and he said no looked at the box and laughed cause he said it says it has a thick ribbon of fudge....if you wouldn't have told me I would never have known they had it. It's was so bad he thought he had a nutty dilly bar. I wanted to add in. I contacted the location(tried the other day but no one would answer). They asked me to bring a bar. There were none we did not think to save extra as proof however If they would have picked up the phone yesterday when i called multiple times at different times one would have been left and I could have provided one. I offered a pic as I took one but they said they found it hard to belive as they did not have another complaint. Most people don't just complain they just stop shopping somewhere or do what I did and try to call before it becomes a complaint. Also since it was 2 boxes logic dictates they could have just opened another box they still had there from the day before batch(they are a 24 hour location) and checked. Also I wasn't looking for a replacement when I called I was looking to let them know. Originaly I thought this was a manufacturing error till I read on the box they are made in store. So I guess if you buy buster bars from here make sure to sacrifice one in store to make sure it's ok and u don't have to drive back or have it indicated...

We bought one $8 dollars meal deal last night in this store. However, the store charge us the price was $8.2（without taxes ）and plus taxes total charged us $8.8 . We also have the experience to buy the $8 meal deal in elsewhere e.g Richmond DQ, the store did only charge us $8 meal deal and not $8.2 for the meal deal. So unreasonable with the PST charge in the Kingsway shop. Thus, we tried to get the refund of the unreasonable amount, but the cashier said that the system is set like that and no refund can be done. The cashier helped us to call the Manager to solve our problem but the manager said that he was off duty and he would not manage our complaints at this moment. He stopped the conversation and we were helpless. The staff told us to come back to talk to the manager next day if we insist to have the money back. Oh my God, we are not living nearby and have to drive a long way to the Kingsway DQ. It's very obviously that there's a big mistake about the charge for $8 meal deal and why no one could help us to get the refund of the unreasonable price and why there's PST charge ? It's very ridiculous to ask us to drive a long way to come back next day for their mistake . Why the manager could neglect our complain ,not to help us? We love DQ ice cream but the Kingsway store made us scare of the unreasonable charges. We are very disappointed with their service especially...

This place got amazing food. I was kind of skeptical at first but it's amazing a super fresh..

Just wanted to hear another time I had green mold growing in my burger I asked a guy what it was he told me green mold. They both stared at me like I was from outer space so I left. Later that night I got food poisoning, this is the only place near my work and I like your burgers. This time I came I made sure to check the burger while the guy was here to make sure there was no more mold inside my burger which there was not thank God. Although I did go to to get some ketchup and there was remnants of dried up ketchup hanging off the dispenser. I wound up cleaning it up for them will they just watched nobody said anything. It was hanging down about an inch and a half from the spout. This is super dirty and disgusting! But they got good burgers. It's just a filthy rotten place, that makes me sick to my stomach but their burger is still good. Just know it's probably got stuff in it that's going to make you sick I'm even if you don't see anything I highly don't they ever clean this place. Looks like although need is one phone call for the health inspector to shut this place down. Although I'm not that type of person. Super disgusting. Not satisfied. Somebody needs to clean this dump up. Somebody needs to just tell these people how to cook good quality food and keep it...
