Found a mosquito in the sweet and sour pork after getting food delivered through a food delivery app. The app offered only a partial refund of the food. I called the restaurant to tell them there was a mosquito in the food, and the person I spoke to yelled at me that it wasn’t their problem, talked over me, and was overall very condescending. They offered only to remake more sweet and sour pork, and were uninterested in the presence of mosquitos in their food. Then they hung up on me. I’m very disappointed with how this issue was resolved (it wasn’t). I wonder how bad of an insect problem they truly have in the kitchen. It’s a shame, I have eaten from here many times over many years. This experience ruined it for me. Edit: I care far less about being refunded $20 less than I paid than I care the presence of mosquitos in food, being yelled at over the phone, and being hung up on. It’s incredibly disappointing customer service. I would have hoped a restaurant would be thankful that I was alerting them to the presence of insects in their food rather than what I experienced. Maybe they just knew it was a problem and didn’t like being called out on it. Incredibly shameful.

Food is good and price is cheap. I ordered the mince meat with cream corn on rice and it was better than how I would make it. Hot and sour soup was thick and not too spicy, just perfect. Service is what you can expect from an authentic Chinese restaurant. Other than that, for my first visit; I am satisfied with the overall experience and will be back for lunch very soon.

Good for satisfying a craving for old-school Chinese food. Dishes that are supposed to be spicy are lacking in spice, but otherwise food is tasty and flavourful. Also beware that they don't seem to drain their deep-fried foods after frying, so things are very greasy. Price is fair and the people are very sweet.

TL;DR: I found a one-inch metal wire in my steamed veggies, which I realized while chewing. The restaurant only apologized, explained the wire came from the steam basket , and didn’t even offer a discount for serving dangerous food. My husband and I went for dinner on October 25th. I ordered steamed veggies and chicken rice, and he ordered ginger beef and noodles. The food tasted good, and we were actually discussing how underrated the place seemed as we ate. (I usually add both good and bad reviews to places we visit, please see my account.)

But then, while chewing my veggies, I felt something hard. It was a piece of wire! If I’d accidentally swallowed it, I might’ve ended up in the ER or even needed surgery. It was a serious safety issue!

I wanted to share this so others can be aware. The restaurant should definitely check and replace any faulty kitchen equipment. They need to understand how dangerous it is to serve food with...

I ordered chow-mein and a bowl of soup(which smelled really disgusting…), and that came to a total of $31. Food didn’t taste good, especially the soup :( I came for comfort after a long day but left feeling even worse Sep13 edit: Wdym “choose to tarnish our reputation online instead of talking to the manger”? No, unlike what u claimed, nobody came to check on me while I was dining in. I know inflation can be tough, but I work a minimum wage job to earn the money I pay for the food here at your restaurant. I’m using this platform to let you guys know that the food quality was not worth the price so you can improve it, and to let other customers know what my experience was truthfully like. Isn’t that the point of the review system? Just own up to it and make it better, instead of finding excuse and accusing u...
