Fantastic lunch and coffee at Mix The Bakery in Vancouver! Stopped in for lunch and was incredibly impressed. The iced latte was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced—definitely one of the best coffees I’ve had in Vancouver. If you’re a coffee lover looking for a great café, this spot is a hidden gem. I also had their grilled sandwich (stuffed with egg, melted cheese, fresh tomato, and greens) paired with a comforting bowl of French onion soup. The soup was packed with flavor—savory, deep, and topped with croutons and melted cheddar. It hit all the right notes for a classic French onion! The quality of the food and coffee, along with the welcoming vibe, make Mix The Bakery a top choice for anyone craving a satisfying meal or a great cup of coffee in Vancouver. ☕🥪🧅 #VancouverCoffee #FrenchOnionSoup #VancouverLunch #MixTheBakery #VancouverCafes #BestCoffeeVancouver #VancouverFoodie

Lots to love here: an abundant selection of delicious pastries and lunches, friendly staff that seem genuinely happy to be there, and a warm, rustic environment. It feels very at home in this neighbourhood. I’ve been a few times and I love the food here; the baking tastes homemade in the best way. I’m thinking the drinks might be hit or miss; they did a great job on my London fog but the chai latte had an unusual bitterness. There is a big selection of sweet and savoury baked goods, including single serve things like muffins, scones, cookies, and pie slices, and multi-serving items like whole loaves of bread, bags of small cookies, and whole cakes/pies. There are also some sandwiches in addition to the baked goods. Very fair prices.

The kids' hot chocolate at 2 bucks is a steal, and my London Fog was quite good. The foccaia bread was really solid as well. I also got the picture loaf, but I found it to dense, and the crust to now be as crunchy as I expected based upon the description. I might just not like this type of bread as much, but it it the reason I didn't give this place 5 stars. If you have a child, I would highly recommend checking this place out.

A cozy cafe offering a small selection of freshly baked goods and artisan bread. The place is dim and customers are usually soft spoken. It does not usually attract crowds of students. The staff are friendly and the products are reasonably priced. They don't make a lot of stuffs and some popular items are only available on certain days of the week. The fruitti nuts bread and chilli cheese bread are great. I find the quiches a bit too rich, though I am a fan of cheese. You have to be early to make sure that you will get what you want. It closes at 5pm Monday to Saturday, and...
