I recently discovered this hidden gem of a cafĂ© and I couldnât be more impressed! From the moment I walked in, the warm, inviting atmosphere set the perfect tone for a relaxed meal. Every dish we tried was a feast for the eyes and the palate.
Their smoked salmon eggs Benedict is an absolute masterpiece: perfectly poached eggs with silky, runny yolks atop fluffy waffles, generous slices of delicate cured salmon, creamy avocado, and a light drizzle of tangy hollandaise. The accompanying micro-green and baby arugula salad, dotted with cherry tomatoes and crunchy puffed grains, provided a delightful fresh contrast.
Next up was the artisan sandwichâthick, multi-grain bread pressed just right, loaded with creamy egg salad, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and a hint of olive oil. It was comfort food elevated to gourmet status. And letâs not forget the vibrant tomato bisque: velvety smooth, rich in flavor, and finished with a swirl of olive oil and herbed garnish, served alongside perfectly toasted sourdough.
Service was friendly and attentive without ever feeling intrusive. The presentation of each plate was thoughtfully composed, making every bite feel like a special occasion. Whether youâre stopping by for brunch, lunch, or a leisurely coffee, this cafĂ© delivers on quality, taste, and hospitality. Highly recommendedâthis place deserves every one of...
Read moreIâve been here twice and both times I had a pretty mediocre experience. I was looking forward to having a new small cafe in the neighborhood but this one seems very over priced for the quality. Everything reminds me of like airport style food as if it was pre made elsewhere and brought to this cafe. This first time I came I ordered their chicken sandwich and it was very dry and the chicken inside was poor quality. Same with my second visit - I ordered an Apple fritter and it was incredibly dry and bland. Each time Iâve come Iâve spoken to the same cashier at the front desk. Sheâs very kind but doesnât know the menu very well and there seemed to be some misunderstandings when I would communicate with her. For instance, both times I ordered a mocha and I had to point to the drink on the board as she seemed confused as to what I was referencing on the menuâŠ. The staff also seem very unorganized - jumping around from task to task without completing what they were doing in the first place. Maybe I will try this place again once theyâve been open for a few months and have everything ironed out. Otherwise there are much more affordable and consistently good cafes...
Read moreWhat an incredible cafe! I'm so glad I found this gem while searching for a last minute mother's day afternoon tea outing in the Kerrisdale area.
My mom got the mushroom soup, which was served with bread on the side, and was absolutely delicious. I got the bruschetta, which was amazing. We both got croissants - also great. For dessert, we shared this incredible mango & passionfruit mousse cake thing? (I don't actually know what it's called, but it was sooooo good!) And we both got the cardamom tea, which is a house blend, and apparently their best seller - and for very good reason! Absolutely loved it. Also, the tea was served with a little cookie, which is such a nice touch.
I did not get to try any of the waffles, or other pastries, or a frappe, or any of their new latte drinks - but I will definitely go back to try one or all of those things, because they all sound so good!
Also, super cute interior, with lots of seating, and the bathrooms were very clean!
Basically, I loved everything...
