Today, Sunday July 14, I placed a pick up order of ("Bucket Treat B", platter of spaghetti and bucket of fried chicken) at this location (Cambie) through door dash. Prior to pick up the order and just confirm, I called the store if the order was been successfully placed and the staff confirmed that they received the order. When I arrived at store, I told the staff that I was there to pick the order and told me to wait for a little bit as they prepare the items. 5 minutes past and I asked again if the items were ready and that's they told me that the order was been cancelled for no given explanation for what really happened to the order I placed. And here comes the juicy part. The supervisor/manager or whatever his position is, I think his name is "Rigor"? He looks old (might be over 60 years old) and wretchedly unhappy. He is definitely a grumpy old man, was being rude and told me that it was my fault and that I have to resolve the issue to door dash and just walk away from me. He pointing fingers to his staff and to me across the counter and talking of words I can barely understand (Limited English proficiency) in front of other stunned and confused customers for he was acting like a 5 year old kid having a tantrums. How come this company hired a grumpy old man as supervisor/manager when he is not professional enough to mediate a problem arising under his supervision? I don't think his attitude was not qualified enough to the position. I read the company Corporate Values in regards to the Customer Focus and this person is definitely NOT fit under this corporate values. How come this person was in-charge and the leader of his staff when he himself is not qualified to he position? To Rigor, looking at you today and at your age (60?), I think you need to retire because you seem tired and grumpy and not in the mood to serve your paying customers who pays your food on your table but also spare your customers by not ruining their day. It is about time for you to put that uniform down and just stay home and play mahjong...
Read moreNothing Fast about the food at this location and Terrible customer service too! My boyfriend and I came out to this location of Jollibee as I have been craving it for while since eating it when it opened first on Granville. After our experience we are NEVER coming back to this location EVER. It's a real shame as a filipino introducing something so nostalgic to your partner only for the service and food quality we were served today. Not only did my boyfriend wait 20+min for a 2 pc Chicken Joy meal the explanation given by staff was incredulous. They have ZERO communication with customers not only did they never tell him that they were out of original fried chicken when he was ordering they waited until he came back 10 min later asking where his food was. When he asked then for a refund because we couldn't wait any longer they denied it! We then waited another 10 minutes for his order to be ready and then when we got to the table we realized his Peach Mango Pie was missing and we had to go back to the counter! Even more amazingly there was nothing but a small sorry but nothing of an actual apology stating everything morebmatter of factly rather than anything genuine. My boyfriend even had to ask for an extra peach mango pie for his troubles (which when we ate was really 70% crust and 30% filling) as they offered nothing. The only part of this experience that was Jollibee as I remember it from my childhood was the beefsteak and rice I had. The chicken was overly fatty instead of juicy with bland and what feels like rushed breading (the skin was really flat and smooth not the usually popped outside). For someplace that constantly speaks of JOY there was no enjoyment in our meal today. If you want good quick service with better food it's better to make the extra trip out to the Granville location...
Read moreWas truly number 1 on my list. Out of all the chicken places in British Columbia, jollibee was number one. However, it has changed due to their services in the management team. On a lovely night, I purchased a combo set for two and took it home for dinner. Suddenly my partner told me to “look” and we found hair in the chicken. I immediately took a picture and video to use it as proof. I have called right away. They told me that the manager was busy and I left my name and my phone number. When I called a couple more times I got a hold of the manager and told her I wanted a refund
It took a while to get a response, she always mentioned “I will call tonight” numerous times. I have waited patiently and a week and a half has already passed by. I have called again for the final time and she kept insisting to call later. She told me that they couldn’t “find my transaction” again, after I awaited her for a week to say the same thing. Clearly she didn’t care and was being dishonest. I have requested for a refund and she said she couldn’t give me a full refund and said they could cover the chicken. I travelled a long distance and told the cashier I was looking for the manager and she has mis-treated me to a very disappointing point. Over the phone and in person I could tell her personality is not too bright. I was waiting for 45-1 hour in the balcony, another individual was eating as well and I saw them closing off the door. I was confused. It was the only door to exit but they closed it off. The manager told me to make my way around the blocked door. I had to report this so that higher officials can find a solution in their management team at...
