I recently had a remarkable experience at Kingsway Deli, and I cannot express my gratitude enough to Mr. Pham for his exceptional customer service. Despite an unfortunate mishap with my order through Uber Eats, where I received only my banh mi and was missing the rest of my meal, Mr. Pham went above and beyond to rectify the situation. While Uber Eats was unable to provide a refund, Mr. Pham, out of his compassionate and kind-hearted nature, took it upon himself to reimburse me for the entire meal.

In a world where many businesses would simply brush off such incidents, Mr. Pham's actions truly stood out. His willingness to make things right and ensure customer satisfaction is a testament to the values and principles of Kingsway Deli.

Furthermore, I must mention that the banh mi I did receive was absolutely outstanding. The flavor, freshness, and quality of the sandwich were exceptional. Today, I visited Vancouver to file taxes and stopped by a nearby Kingsway deli for lunch. As I entered, I noticed several Vietnamese customers buying over 20 sandwiches at once, prompting me to try a Vietnamese chewy and tasteless chicken sandwich with minimal sauce and meat for $8, as well as a spicy meat sandwich with minimal meat for $8. Regrettably, these Vietnamese-style sandwiches were particularly difficult to eat. It's worst Vietnamese sandwich in my life.

Before leaving, I purchased a box of Vietnamese green bean cake for $10, four pieces of fried fish for $8, and a fried banana for $4 to bring home. Nevertheless, when I ate the fried banana, I found it to be empty, with hardly any banana inside, rendering it not worth the $4 price tag, a clear instance of being overcharged. Fast and friendly service, but food quality is not good. I saw some posts on Google, mentioned they carry pork chop or chicken on rice, it's from next door, not...

combo rice + 2 items: $14.5 — very good combo and tasty food. 5/5

1 item small size: depending on the food, shrimp with pork is the most expensive at $17.5 for small, other proteins cost $12 for small. Worth it if you have rice at home and want a quick tasty meal. 4/5

vermicelli with pork and spring roll (pic): $16 — very tasty, pork was very tender, excellent fish sauce and overall a good deal. 5/5

rice with grilled pork (pic): $15 — only available around noon, however the pork chop was very chewy. 2/5

spring rolls: $3.5 each or $10 for 3 — yummy especially when eaten hot with great portion. 5/5

ice cream: $2 — traditional Vietnamese ice cream and I love it. The green one (pandas flavoured)...
