I am very ashamed in the way the assistant manager today treated me, she was very verbally abusive and aggressive when I brought to her attention that a grocery clerk with the name Nickson, chose to slander and single me out in the store while I am trying to read the labels on the tooth brush's so that I may pick one to buy for my mouth. He stalked me the whole time until at witch point I grew very annoyed by this fact. This fact gave me the realization that I am a victim of a crime because nickson ran away as fast as he could as soon as the assistant manager( that I had asked him to call for me) was face to face with me. Why did he run away ? 1. He chose to try and lie in front of my face while on the phone with the assistant manager, good thing that I stayed rite there because he was intentionally going to slander me to a point that made me out to be giving him a reason to call the assistant not because I asked him to, but because it was a "bad shopper". THIS IS THE WORST I HAVE EVER BEEN TREATED IN A GROCEY STORE AND THE STRESS AMOUNT FAR EXCEEDS THE LIMIT . I MY SELF AM GOING THRUE MORNING AND SEVEAR HEART BREAK AND FOR THIS TO BE DELIBRIT ATTEMT TO USE SOME PERSONS PERSONAL LIFE HEALTH RISK AS A TOOL TO ABUSE SHOPPERS IS NOT GOOD!!!. On that note I AM GOING TO HAVE MY LAWER RETRIEVE THE SECURITY TAPE AND HAVE POLICE INVESTIGATE. AS WELL COMPENSATION FOR MY MENTAL ANGUISH,PAIN AND THE SLANDERING. A CASH LAW SUITE SETTLEMENT...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot great prices on most things, but came in here for sale on sodas because they had a large selection of diet soda in theory. In actuality, they are almost always sold out of 12+ kinds of the 19 varieties of diet coke/pepsi/dr pepper products they carry, only stocking the standard cola varieties you can find elsewhere for much cheaper even with sales taken into account. While checking out, I realized I forgot my debit card (my bad) and had to pay with cash. The cashier wasn't paying attention and accidentally tried to short change me by a significant amount. Mistakes happen, but it was just another disappointment to add to the list of this visit. Had to then walk across the store to customer service to get a rain cheque, which was a wait because they are understaffed and helping people with self checkout. Then had to wait a while for the customer service girl to fill out the rain cheque because she was having a hard time using a pen with her Flo-Jo nails. She was still very pleasant though. It's so hard to get my daily allotment of that sweet bittery aspartame from this location with all these issues occurring all at once. The whole experience I'm sure would cause Jim Pattison to be rolling in his grave were it not for the sacred blood oath he made during the chiming of the infinity bell on the alter of Balthazar granting him immunity from the "best before" date we mere mortals are forced...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere has been an erosion of policy at this store since it changed from PriceSmart to Save-On-Foods, and I'm wondering how much more it will continue. They once offered a really nice policy when it came to price matching other local stores. Bring in a flyer, or show the website of the local store, and you'd get a price match. But, slowly, this has changed. They eventually said 'No more website matching of local stores', because at one point an employee price matched a store that wasn't in BC, so instead of providing training to the employees of how to check in 5 seconds if it's a local store, they just removed the ability to do this. Then you could only price match two items per flyer. Okay, odd change there, but, fine. And now, it's only one of... one of item in the entire flier. I assume that the next step is to only allow it if it's a leap year, and the day falls on a full moon. The narrative goes 'Please, go to another store, grab a piece of paper, bring it back, and maybe we'll let you use it... a little.'
The employees are nice mind you, but the name 'Save-On-Foods' is slowly adding a deep 60's maniacal laugh behind it, almost to say '...if you go somewhere else, perhaps!'. I want to shop there, but if they're going to continue to make it more and more inconvenient there, at what point does a customer go 'No thank you' as there's a better price and better...
