So glad I recently discovered LOT185 despite having walked past many times in the past few years.
Don't be put off that this looks to be a cafe counter in a conference centre and that it's operated by the world's largest catering company. It is a PROPER cafe and restaurant that deserves your business.
It's way too quiet as a result of the pandemic's impact on tourism and conferences but the service, food, coffee and prices are all first class. At the cafe counter the Guatamalan coffee is fantastic and the delicious pastries are all made on site. Up the adjacent stairs the meals section caters for the light dining and lunch crowd. Again everything is made on site and is first rate. The Lobster Bisque was too salty and the texture was not rich or smooth enough. Secondly, the seared duck breast was perfectly done but it could be more tasty with more seasoning.
