Part of the cultural centre, it lacks a bit in ambiance and coziness. Otherwise, it functions and presents pretty much like a regular restaurant. We ordered three different pastas: casarecce alla tartufata; spaghetti alla carbonara; and tagliatelle alla bolognese. The casarecce was very al dente. I couldn’t decide if I liked it or not; because it felt like it was undercooked but it wasn’t necessarily unappetizing. Just a different texture I’m normally used to. It came with mushrooms and truffles. The mushrooms could’ve been cooked more too, because that would help mix the textures a bit The spaghetti was the best dish. Not only did the child help themselves to three servings, the adults enjoyed the guanciale that came with it. I did find the guanciale a bit peppery, but B said they enjoyed it. The tagliatelle was not my favorite, but B thought it was “fine.” We both thought it could use a bit of seasoning, but where I would not like another bit, B had two servings. We ended up packing about one-third of each pasta home. Service was fine, nothing spectacular. We were seated promptly at 5 pm on a Friday night, got our orders placed quickly, and got our drinks and food in a timely manner. It was a fine experience and perhaps we would return, but not anytime soon.

For the real Italian standards, pizza is good but not excellent. I would have tried the fried calamari, but they were not available that day. For dessert, we got cannoli and tiramisù. Acceptable but not as expected for my taste. The atmosphere was not properly comfortable, as the restaurant is facing an annexed mini indoor soccer field visible through the windows. The problem is that kids and their parents going in and out of the restaurant create confusion as they need to pass between tables all the time when other people are eating. Lots of free parking abailable. Overall, it was acceptable. Thank you :)

We tried a total of 6 dishes. 2 appetizers (calamari, arancini), 2 pizzas (prosciutto, one with lemon ricotta and fresh figs), and 2 pasta dishes (carbonara, one with pork sausage). I can only recommend the calamari and the pasta dish with the pork sausage. For the pizzas, they have the right idea with the ingredients but lacked the sauce or need more sauce and it tasted quite dry. Restaurant only recently opened so I see lots of room for improvement.

We had a group work event for a co-worker’s engagement celebration, we were 18 people total.

The restaurant and Event planner were absolutely kind, accommodating and flexible with our requests, from decorations, allergies, to changes in food choices. The ambiance is warm, Italian and beautiful for formal and casual events!! It is the perfect balance for all occasions.

Everyone loved the food and the service! The food portion was nice and generous! Our server was attentive and brought the food accordingly, we played games on the table and knew when to bring the food.

I would definitely come back with friends and family and for future events as well !! A big thanks to the restaurant for making an amazing...
