Edit 2: Hi owner, I counted March to July as 4 months. I actually didn't post an update a week ago, so that is quite weird, although your response is weirder. I did try to give your establishment another chance in May and the bingsu on that day was equally horrendous. I meant to post another review around then but forgot. After my initial review you could have made effort to improve your poor quality, but instead quibbled about what date I went and did not attempt to make up for an inferior experience. I can see from another recent review that someone else has also noticed how your bingsu quality has dropped over the years. And yet another review where a customer said that your bingsu was smaller and you talked down to them about the bowl size being the same. I agree that the bowl size is the same, but what used to be tall and fluffy is now flat, so it's not really the same "sized" bingsu anymore. I actually only opened this now because I was looking to get bingsu again and wondering if things were better now but based on the newer reviews it seems that they are not. I don't have your email address nor did you attempt to provide one, so I actually can't email you. ************** Edit: I posted this on Monday the 20th, the weekend before that is the 18th and 19th. So yes I went when it was open. ************** Been coming here regularly every 1-2 months, but the bingsu on last weekend's visit was far below the usual quality. The ice was clumpy and not fluffy so the bingsu was flat and squashed, there were less strawberries than usual (and really sloppily placed), and the inside was not layered with strawberry and shaved ice like it usually is. There was also a door or something repeatedly slamming in the back, like the employees weren't holding or closing it properly. This has our favourite bingsu place for close to a year but after such a drop in quality I'm not sure about returning.

I came here with a friend to try their shaved ice! I don't think they have the toasts on their menu anymore (although the person who took our order mentioned they were out of stock of a few things, so maybe that was one of the things that was greyed out on the menu) - it was just shaved ice, cake slices, and drinks. The menu as it is still offers lots of options. I was sorely tempted by the beautiful carrot cake in the display, but I had my heart set on shaved ice, so I got the injeolmi snow and an americano to offset the cold dessert in the cold weather. The shaved ice was very creamy, and I enjoyed the nutty flavour of the liberal dusting of soybean powder and red beans with the chewy mochi. There was one big mochi ball on top but I was surprised by how many smaller mochi pieces were mixed in. They definitely did not skimp on toppings for either my shaved ice or for my friend who got the mango snow. My americano actually exceeded my expectations, it was pretty strong and had a rich flavour. Order at the counter and they'll call out your order when it's ready for you to pick up. The person working the front was very nice and gave my friend recommendations. The ambiance is nothing fancy but we found it very comfortable and relaxed.

The food is good, but unfortunately my friends and I had a terrible experience. We ordered a large mango bongo. After about 15 minutes of waiting we go up to get our tray when the worker calls our name and there was 1 large and 1 small mango bongo. We didn’t realize there was a mistake since it was our tray. We start to eat our food and about 25 minutes later a worker comes up to us. She very rudely says you ordered 1 why are you eating it (the other one) we are extremely confused and ask for her to explain. She says I took your order and you only ordered 1 and the girl got tables mixed up, as well as continuing to aggressively ask why we ate it. We said we assumed it was our order and that’s why we ate it. We offered to pay for it which she just replied ok and then left us. We did pay for it at the counter. This attitude was extremely unnecessary since it was a staff mistake and it was a disrespectful way to treat customers who weren’t being rude, and were just confused. Not to mention it was very odd that she was pressuring us to pay when it wasn't our fault they made a mistake.

EDIT: Response to owner, I apologize for any confusion as this event happened in the summer of 2022. I made an edit to the review to change a grammar error and did not realize it brought my review to have a new date, though I assure that it did happen, but it was a while ago. It was an old issue and I understand that since it was so long ago, there may have been change in staff, better service, etc. So take my review with the assumption it may not reflect the current service of this...
