Many reviews have been about the SAME bad staff member.
I've been a regular customer at this Kingsway location, for the past 7 years. There has always been only one particular staff here, who is very rude while everyone else is friendly. Every staff there knows me as very friendly, I'm always smiling. But today, it was the last straw, whwn I witnessed that mean lady staff bullying her own co-worker! There were customers there! In front of customers, the mean worker was lecturing her coworkers, calling her dumb! So, not only is this mean staff super rude to customers, I now see she treats her coworkers the same way too. I would really like to ask the boss why he still hires her? And I KNOW they all know who I am talking about. There's only one mean & rude staff. She is rude to customers, rude to everyone, loud, mean. Why keep her? I saw her take out her meaness on other innocent customers too. There was a lady infront of me, who had purchased about a dozen buns. The mean staff asked rudely if the customer wants her buns in a box or separate bags. The nice lady in front said "Don't matter, whichever is easier for you". So she had left it up to the mean staff on how to pack her items. The mean lady then proceeded to be spiteful! She took a large bag, not the normal ones they'd use, but a large one where they usually only use it for left over or non fresh buns. The mean staff used those large bags and proceeded to DUMP all of the lady's buns inside! Literally dumped them in one big plastic bag! The customer didn't even say anything! If it were me, I would of posted pictures of that bag of flattened buns, and posted it everywhere online for people to see. Even I was embarrassed! How is that lady going to eat all those flattened buns after? So that was what did it for me. I am not going back. I'd rather drive further down to...

After I paid, I asked if they had forks (because the bday celebration was at the park and i didn't know if we had enough extra forks for cake). She took out a couple and asked how many needed. I said 6. She made a face, which gave me a bad vibe. She's told me can have two.
Uhh... just bought 4 cake slices from you and you are only willing to give me 2 forks?
I get that you don't really provide forks because it's a bakery. But if you don't give it to customers who want them, then what's the point of having them.

Apparently it wasn't enough time for them to even acknowledge they had received the order. Took them a good half an hour to get the order ready after calling Uber to confirm god knows what.
Now that'd have been okay, I understand errors can happen and technology can't always be our friend. What caught me totally off guard, was the absolutely condescending tone of the employee. She was treating me as if I was lying about placing my order rather than trying to work out the problem from their end.
