Long post, tldr: great spot, great consistent year round deals, friendly people, and the new Big Dipper deal is good.
I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience ever, and that’s coming from someone who has been regularly going around once a week for almost 5 years now. Friendly people who are very fast and attentive. For price to deals to meal, this Pizza Hut has been going strong in this neighborhood for years.
Firstly, the food: the pizza, obviously. Somehow, they have perfected the art of crust so well. Varied sauces and even more varied toppings, with plenty of customizability as you desire. Wings and sides are great hits too, with the sauces to match.
The deals are the best I ever seen. Let’s start with the points system: for online purchases, each day your order is at least 10.99, you get a point. And it’s not a “you need 10 points for a meal” or anything, it’s 5 points for a medium two-topping pizza. Free. And you can still add more to the pizza, it’ll still keep the medium two topping part free. And to make it even better, they recently adjusted the system so that there are even more items you can spend your points on. (And before you worry about the number going up too fast or too much, I’ll have you know it started at 9.99 per order when I started going almost 5 years ago and its gone up exactly 1 dollar.)
Now to the actual deals themselves; Pizza Hut seems to find no small amount of ways to give great and varied value forever. There’s a daily 10.99 medium pizza that changes each day. If a full pie is too much for you, you can get a personal box with a small 3 topping pizza and your choice of delicious sides. When you pick up an order, you get a receipt that asks you to review for a buy one get one free code that is valid for 2 weeks. They constantly have new deals and items to try out.
Now, for the most recent online deal: Big Dipper box. I was asked to review it, but only this and then went on the whole above tangent to finally give a bit of justice to the store I’ve been going to for five years. Anyways, at 19.99, you get a massive box with two sizable rectangle pies, either topped with pepperoni or plain (I think around the size of their mediums for rectangles) paired with four dips, sliced for, as the name describes, easy dipping. The fairly simple pies are great since they let the dips really shine their flavor. The new secret sauce hits a pleasant mix of something not unlike barbecue with smokey honey mustard. It’s easy food for sharing and snacking at a remarkably good price and I do recommend it for any party or if you have enough space to store it and snack...
Read moreNormally, I adore pizza Hut. Not tonight! There is a restaurant 6 blocks from my home. Despite that they managed to deliver a pizza that was teped (not hot, not cold) in temperature. I called them and spoke to the manager, (Deepak), he explained to me that their driver was sick so they had to use door dash to deliver and it's not "pizza huts" fault, even if I ordered directly from pizza Hut. They actually had door dash call me to decide if I should get a refund or a new pizza. Dear pizza Hut, I am not a door dash client! Also shame on you for saying it's their fault when I ordered from you directly (trying to save you money)....I once worked at Pizza Hut...if we made a mistake we took responsibility. Also, charging $7.95 for delivery plus an automatic tip of $1.10 is $9.05 in charges on top of your special price of $10.99 for the cold pizza! I wouldn't normally xomplaybut have some...
Read moreThe delivery dude for this store sucks. The app. Says the pizza delivery guy is here so I go wait out by the door, and he took over 15 min to show up even tho we have a drive way for delivery to park. 2 times, I haven't ordered from them all because of this driver. Now I want pizza but this is the closest place so it automatically orders from this place, this hit is new to the area so I don't even get a choice, the other pizza hut on 4th was awsome. I also pay the tip before we get the pizza cause the app asks, and before I'd do it cause the 4th Ave pizza hut was awsome they even come into my building and right to my door... The guys clueless, he came walking to the front door even tho no one was parked in the front. I don't know what to do, I want to order from the 4th Ave place. But the app says this place is closer. I'm sad mad and frustrated on how to get the 4th Ave...
