Meh. Not too sure why people are reviewing this place so highly. It was really empty during peak hours. The flyer stand outside didn't match the ramen pictures and topics that were listed inside. Some of the toppings were either missing or changed. Please ensure you check the inside menu. I told them that the menu outside didn't match the one indoors and they dismissed it. So don't make the same mistake.
In terms of ramen - I got the miso one. The soup broth was really good, the enoki mushrooms were a very nice touch. My only issue were the eggs -something was off. They tasted a little weird - lemony idk maybe a little old. The portion was good and noodles were well done.
Drink - I got the peach tea with tapioca. My only issue is that the tapioca were not firm it felt like they have been laying out for a bit. They were a little soggy.
Customer service - very good. The workers are really sweet and fast. But again fast cause there is no one there.
Overall : Fake advertising, $30 for an okay ramen and a drink is a little too much.... wouldn't recommend. Go to an actual established ramen...
Read moreCame to try with a Groupon, which was a good deal, but the regular price seemed a bit steep. Ordered the large (3 protein) poke bowl with zucchini noodles and the macadamia milk tea.
The staff at the register was quite friendly. I was a bit overwhelmed at the choice of toppings and it was my first time, so I asked if I could have some of each topping on my bowl, besides the fruits. I understand how a request like that might be annoying (although if they didn't want people to do that maybe they shouldn't make that an option), but the staff who made my bowl acted obviously annoyed, which was quite off-putting. I thought the macadamia milk tea was tea made with macadamia milk, but it was milk tea with crushed bits of macadamia. It was interesting, not too sweet, but the tea flavour was too weak for me. The flavour of the poke bowl was pretty good, but considering the price and the staff's attitude, I probably...
Read moreLet's start with the atmosphere. It's clean, small, but has enough space for long tables and comfortable seating. I probably should've ordered poke, since that's what the reviewers talk about. Instead I ordered Half and half tuna/salmon sashimi. I was expecting sliced sashimi, I understand food needs to look presentable. But it's a long thin piece of rolled up sashimi sitting on a platter of lettuce. There was chopped up tamago (tasteless) and some wasabi. I had to ask for soya sauce. Ramen was decent. Had the chashu black garlic. But that was not chashu. There's zero fat on the meat on all 3 slices. My $2.00 miso was worthless. I know $2 is not a lot....I got a small cup of it. And it had no ingredients in the miso. In Fujiya you get the tofu at least. Overall costed over $40+. I might go there next time to try poke bowl and...
