Really tasty rolls, were done super quick. Very good value tray menu. A couple of things disappointed me though, firstly, the waitresses hold glasses of water or tea holding their palm above the cups which is not acceptable, I have been to this place twice and both times there were a different waitresses who hold the cups that way bringing them to the customer. The other thing is happened today when I have ordered a tray D which doesn’t have any chicken, I was brought the tray and one of the roll was with chicken, i am 90 percent sure that it was it. I don’t eat chicken so it is a big deal for me, I called the waitress and she assured me that it’s a roll called Charlie tuna and don’t have chicken. But I don’t believe it, I am pretty much aware of the texture and of the taste of both. The waitress never asked me if I prefer tea or water today and just brought water, the first time I was in the place we were offered the choice though. Other rolls were tasty

Ordered Alaska Roll, Pink Lady Roll, and 2x Salmon Aburi Oshi for takeout for $40 total Rice was poorly seasoned and had bad texture. Alaska Roll: Salmon had a weird taste and colour. The avocado was rotten and smelled like it came out of a public restroom. Ended up spitting it out and not finishing the roll. Pink Lady Roll: The avocado in this roll was fine and not rotten. Salmon Aburi Oshi: Poorly made since it fell apart the moment I tried picking it up with my chopsticks. There was very little sauce used and it was not torched enough (lacked the classic aburi flavour). Main cons: bland rice and rotten avocado. The only good thing was the hostess was nice and the Oshi is pretty cheap ($10.50), but I guess you get what you pay for. Would not order from here again.

Came here on Sunday and bought 3 rolls. The staff were super nice, the chef and the server both greeted me and were friendly! I was really excited about the sushi because of the amazing reviews, and because it’s so close to where I live! Unfortunately, when I bit into my spicy salmon roll, many of the rice grains were uncooked and still rock hard, and it immediately gave me a toothache. I’ll still give 3 stars because the service was super nice, and the flavor was still yummy, really the only issue was the uncooked rice! Maybe I just caught them on a bad rice day. I’m sure I’ll come by again to give them another try, and hopefully the rice will be cooked!!

Amazing, friendly staff and incredibly tasty food. The prices are great, and the quality of the sushi is awesome. I’ve been going regularly for the last few months now, and the waitress always greets us with a smile. She’s super friendly, and always seems happy to see us. I’ve never had such awesome sushi too! I’m so used to sushi being expensive for a small roll, but they definitely give you your money’s worth. And there’s so so so many wonderful rolls to choose from. If you like Unagi, the Godzilla roll is a favourite of ours. Whether we’re sitting down or ordering in, I have never been disappointed by the amazing work of River Sushi. You guys rock! I’ll definitely be bringing my friends again.

Oh and thank you so much for accommodating my classmates that one time, we were a big group and you guys were wonderful allowing us to eat indoors while still social distancing. Always wonderful to come by, and they also had a wonderful time and enjoyed the...

Ordered the All day special (udon, chopped scallop nigiri), my love roll, Salmon run roll, miso soup and salmon sashimi for delivery from door dash

I didn't expect the "my love roll" to be spicy at all. It was not written in the menu. If I knew, I wouldn't have chosen that. Although, it was spicy, it still tasted really good (esp. with the deep fried sushi layer at bottom).

The salmon run roll - I feel was ok, I still prefer the "my love roll".

I didn't quite like the chopped scallop nigiri. For some reason, the scallops looks darker in color than that I usually find at other restaurants.

The miso tasted really good. Its like a high quality type. They added artificial crab meat and i think I tasted some onions in it as well.

I was quite disappointed in the beef udon. The restaurant did not separate the soup from the noodles. The noodles were way over cooked...it tasted very mushy /soft. *Thus, ordering udon for takeout is definitely not...
