Haven't eaten here for a decade when I was a student until recently. Due to time constraint, this was the most convenient alternative besides Cafe Ami.
If you're not in the mood for sandwiches or waiting in line, this is a better choice. There are sandwiches, chicken fingers, and salads here. Most food is pre-cooked due to the traffic.
I grabbed some chicken fingers and fries for $10.99. The choice of sauce was honey mustard or bbq. However, they were out of bbq sauce.
The chicken fingers were decent and tasty. It's not the best, but you don't expect that at a hospital. The fries were the oven-roasted style which again, was good enough.

Read moreI don’t know what people are complaining about. You’re in a hospital. The foods not that great but it’s decent hospital made food. Would you rather have the hospital put money into getting you better food or into saving peoples lives? You can’t have that high of a standard for hospital food. I’d avoid the salad bar and the sandwich station because the food needs to properly refrigerated and it’s easy for ingredients to be cross contaminated. The noodle bar and the hot food station is ok at best. But I don’t have as high of an exception as these other reviewers. If you like good coffee, cafe Ami is much better than the cafeteria. Read moreBurger are precooked (frozen Pattie’s), food sits in warmers from morning till close. Seen it first hand today. Overpriced bland food. On occasion they will have a half decent soup. Good coffee Starbucks blends. Friendly staff. No food safe going on here.
As for patients food…don’t get me started. For starters cold food!!!! Untoasted toast, either you get runny oatmeal or so thick you can stand your spoon up. Even the coffee/tea are cold.
