Bean Around the World Coffees — Restaurant in Vancouver

This Bean Around the World by VGH is on the small side and there aren’t as many food options as the other locations I’ve been to, but what they have is still really good. I got a tofu and chickpea wrap, a quinoa date square, and a beetroot ginger latte - all vegan, not really on purpose, but it’s great that they have vegan choices. I have only good things to say about everything - it was all very tasty and unique. The wrap was satisfying and perfectly grilled, the date square had an awesome melt-in-the-mouth texture, and the addition of ginger to the beetroot latte worked really well. It’s just a little on the expensive side, but I think the prices are pretty comparable to other places that serve food of this quality, which is unfortunate, but that’s more of a reflection on the current economy than their choices when everywhere is expensive. The barista was super friendly and the service was quick. The interior has a cozy rustic look and there’s a patio seating available....

Awful service today around 7 am. I haven't seen these new faces in the cafe so they might've been new or lost. This morning, a women and I ordered way before it got busy and waited at least 10 mins to notice that other customers were getting their beverages immediately than us. when we mentioned about this concern, the employees didn't even apologize for the wait and they mistaken my order for an ICED match latte when I asked for hot. I asked the employee that this is wrong and I ordered a hot 16 oz matcha latte but her response back is 'oh its the same as the 16oz but wider' then walked away. I usually never have an issue with the service until today. Please make sure to train these three employees again because I don't want to come back to poor service and awful...

Me and my friends love this place, everything is usually good for us here, but you know why I gave 1 star? Because we can't get in 😔 we usually come here every morning to get coffee but, for example in 2-3 times in a week we cant get in because of a dog tied to the handle of the front door blocking all the way. and we go to the tim hortons on broadway when we cant get in 😞 I bring my female friends with me and they are scared of big dogs. I tried to talk to the owner of the dog explaining the situation and she said that the dog is friendly, not gonna bite etc 😞 sometimes I don't get people 😕 I wish the store management could do any arrangements for...
