A&W Canada — Restaurant in Vaughan

Asked for a burger, fries, and drink. I showed the promo code to upgrade my fries to sweet potato fries. The cashier told me I had to pay for two fries; one for the combo and one for extra sweet potato fries. I did not want to be overcharged by her mistake, so I asked her to call the supervisor and somebody named Sweety came upfront and said the coupon does not apply for the combo. I asked her to cancel the combo and give the the burger and upgraded the sweets potato fries. She refused and started explaining and saying nonsense which I did not understand. I canceled the whole order and started to walk away. Then she rudely said "OK BYE" with no apologies and no manner. Working in a fast food place is a customer service job. The staff need to be trained how to deal with customers. How to keep them satisfied so they come again. How do you guys feel if someone treats you the way I was treated at your restaurant? Won't you become irritated of the staff behavior? Just go to Harvey's across from the street and see how they are dealing and treating their customers. A customer service job is not just cooking food, but rather providing a good service to the customer that makes them encouraged to come to your restaurant again and again and again. The staff is friendly but not much personally. A little slow, and if you are doing takeout, or drive thru make sure to check your order. Overall I would go back again. No I would say the same, which overall is still alright. All was the same overall a little slow,and check your order. This time the service was good, not friendly, the order was correct. They have the worst service ever here! I asked for a beyond meat dressed like a uncle with cheese and bacon, there was no cheese no bacon and there was brown hair in my food! I had already driven away so i had to turn around and go back, i was pretty upset so I decided to go in seeing as I live down the street and every time I come here they get my order wrong (my boyfriend had the same issue over and over again). I go in to ask them to remake it the girl puts her hands all over my burger says there is bacon when there clearly isn’t then tries to put another piece in and give me it, I was so disgusted. They don’t wear gloves at this location, so I was disgusted and just got my money back.
