Decided to try a new Vietnamese restaurant in the Vaughan mill area while home visiting. Walk in at 630pm dinner time and was greeted and sitted right away. Restaurant had been open for a week, so still in their soft opening period. Look through the menu and notice their specialty dishes that only serve on the weekend Friday-Sunday.
Decided to order their bun dau mam tom with lòng dòi, along with spring rolls and bo Tai chanh for appetizers . Lòng dòi platter was serve on a bamboo basket dish, nice touch to the presentation. Presentation are also important, it shows their love for the foods that deliver to their customers. I have to say, the lòng dòi was to die for! Taste exactly like your mom homemade. Spring rolls was good but the dipping sauce portion could be more. I like to dip my rolls with tons of sauce lol. The bo tai chanh was perfect in the amount of sauce, not to sour not too sweet.
Main menu, we ordered house special pho dac biet, fresh free range chicken pho, a special house special rice dish and their bun bo hue. I can only give you the feed back of the free range chicken pho, cause that’s my dish I ordered. Fresh chicken pho not many places order, bonus cause it’s how my mom make it at home. It’s on the pricey side but you pay for good authentic food so I’m ok with it. The noodle are also fresh, yay!!! Pho come with 4 pieces of chicken on a plate, at first the portion look small for the price charge, but once transfer to your bowl of pho, it was the perfect amount of meat to the noodles. Broth was clear and perfect, finished the bowl to the bottom, no wasting one drop of broth here lol.
As for my family, the rice plate was all eaten by my son. The bun Bo Hue, my daughter had no complaint. She usually order that wherever she goes, so I’m assuming she like it cause she finished it. My husband said the house special pho was very flavorful, fresh rice noodles as well, too much meat he say. Who complain about too much meat, so I’m assuming that’s a positive feed back from him.
Overall I gave this place a 5 stars for the amazing foods and it’s only their first week of opening. Foods coming out it’s kinda slow but it’s expected from my view cause they are still in their soft opening and need improvement on certain area. Oh, bonus to their 5 stars, if you order lòng dòi and have their fermented shrimp paste sauce and afraid of stinky breath, they have mouth wash in the washroom for you. The only place that I went to that think ahead of the game for their customers!!!!!
Give them a try and you won’t be...
Read moreCalled ahead to ask for hours and availability for dine-in. Was pleasantly addressed and they answered all my questions.
My wife and I went that night for a date night and were warmly greeted at the door. The aura of the front area has a traditional Vietnamese feel that is authentic and it helped me feel like it was a "get away"...
The dining area was half full at least, energetic and pleasantly lit and very clean. Smiles all around.
Upon being seated we were asked if we would like warm tea - "Uh, yes please!" - and in the same instant someone came and placed a fresh pot of tea with 2 cups on our table. Ahhh, a nice and warm treat for the January weather.
I ordered an appetizer to share (salad rolls) and we both ordered Pho (how we like it - 2 choice selection) (I didn't order the pho special. I was about to, but then I thought "I want a lot of meat" and, from what I understand, the "special" can be seen as a deluxe dish that has a bit of everything (ox tail, beef, etc, etc...) so you can try everything. They can't put the same amount of each topping as they would in the 2-choice selection - the bowl would overflow!!!), and ordered a beer for the drink.
The food was very fresh and tasty. Food came quick and was the appropriate temperature. With all the sauces and spices on our table already, we dove right into our meals. They even brought a mid-meal refreshment platter with fruit slices, candies and fortune cookies.
They did not rush us at all and they were very considerate of our privacy. But at the same time, when we began small talk with the waiter towards the end, they were open, authentic, and totally resonated with our vibe.
We were served by Matthew and met the chef. Super nice!
We left full and happy and now it's our...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at B's Kitchen Fine Vietnamese Cuisine and I have to say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff. The restaurant was incredibly clean and well-maintained, which immediately set the tone for a great dining experience.
As for the food, let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold and authentic, and it seemed to be northern Vietnamese style. I started off my meal with the spring rolls, which were crispy and packed with fresh herbs and vegetables. They were a great way to whet my appetite for the main course.
Next, I ordered what appeared to be Vietnamese tacos, and they did not disappoint. The filling was savory and flavorful, and the soft shells were perfectly cooked. I also ordered soup noodles and vermicelli with pork and sausage, which was a hearty and satisfying dish. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the pork and sausage added a nice depth of flavor.
But perhaps the best thing about B's Kitchen Fine Vietnamese Cuisine was the staff. They were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my meal. They were always available to answer any questions I had about the menu, and they went out of their way to make sure I was having a great dining experience.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend B's Kitchen Fine Vietnamese Cuisine to anyone looking for a delicious, authentic and enjoyable dining experience. The food was top-notch, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant again in the future. If you're looking for a taste of Vietnam, B's Kitchen is the...
