Mr. Zagros — Restaurant in Vaughan

worst place ever! i called them for a pickup order, told her my order and when i go there and pay and everything. i check the plate and it was all wrong. i specifically told her how i want my order and she completely did it differently from what i asked. I asked for a refund and she refused to refund my money. she started yelling at me and saying i won’t refund your money and I don’t care and she wouldn’t change it for another one for us. she was telling us to order another one after we paid for this one which she did wrong. she kept blaming it on me but I specifically told her about 4-5 times how i want my order and she completely did it to something different that i didn’t ask for, and it’s expensive for what? she was so rude to us and the way she was talking to us. people who work at a restaurant or any place to be honest, should be nice to their customers but this girl wasn’t. she was very rude. i don’t recommend making an order from this place because they’ll make it wrong for you and they won’t refund your money at all. they’ll pick a fight with you. and I wanted to talk to their boss but she lied to me and said they weren’t there but they were....

Edit: I've been to this location many times and have always enjoyed the food and service until today.

I ordered the "Mixed Plate", assuming I would be given the Zagros Mixed Plate as that is the only item on their displayed menu with the term "Mixed Plate".

I received a totally different item than what I ordered. When I asked why, I was told that if I wanted the Zagros Mixed Plate, I needed to say Zagros Mixed Plate, otherwise I would be given the Shwarma Mixed Plate. This seems very confusing because there is no Shwarma Mixed Plate item displayed on the Menu, so I do not know how I could have known that.

I ended up paying more than 20 dollars for an item I did not want, and was basically told, "now you know for next time".

Very disappointed with my experience :(

Edit 2: changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars because to be fair, this is the first time I've had any issues. It may be a good idea to include "Schwarma Mixed Plate" on the in-store displayed Menu to prevent confusion and...

I Tried it Once, Don't think I'll love it Forever.

Really nice restaurant space, large, clean, with comfortable seating.

Menu was the typical middle eastern flair, with the wraps and plates in various combinations. Pricing I guess reflects the surrounding area I suppose.

Ordered the Main Course / 13 / Zagros Cheese Doner Box. We were the only ones at the store at the time, weekday around 1pm. Took noticeably long, which only increased my appetite. Was happy to be served with metal utensils. First bite was great, after that it faded away pretty quickly. Personally found it meh and a bit salty. Sauce was mid. Not worth the price, and overall just not worth it.

I really do not like to give negative reviews, but in this case there are better cheaper fast food shawarma joints out there. That said if I wanted to sit down and have a meal or take someone to eat and conversate with yeah this place can be considered. Most likely try the Shawarma...
