PALGONG TEA | K-Bowl & Roll Steeles — Restaurant in Vaughan

Love how the place is in a relatively remote and quiet area (it's in the back of the plaza off Steeles that isn't very noticeable unless you're familiar with the place). A lot of bubble tea places use artificially flavoured syrups or powders for their fruit flavoured teas, but they put the actual fruit in the teas here, making it taste great, and you can actually taste the tea instead of it tasting like juice. My favourite is the grapefruit green tea with 50% sugar and less ice. If you have a bit of sweet tooth, get regular sugar (personally, it's a bit too sweet for me). Their milk teas are also good (recommend earl grey milk tea). They also have special seasonal drinks quite often, so if you like trying something new, give their seasonal drinks a try. Right now, I believe they have a maple milk tea. It sounds good, but I'm afraid it might be a bit too sweet. I'll definitely try out their next special fruit tea. Apart from the drinks, it has nice cozy seating, and usually doesn't get too crowded since it is in a remote area. The prices are also decent ($4 for regular sized fruit green tea / $5 for large). Seems fair compared to the $6-8 dollar drinks at other bubble tea franchises. Definitely...

I tried this place earlier this year during the summer because a friend of mine HIGHLY suggested it! To be fair, she suggested I try their Oolong Milk Tea with Cheese Foam in it but I hadn't given Cheese Foam a chance yet, so I didn't take ALL of her advice during this visit haha.

This place is definitely one that I will keep coming back to if I'm in the area: ✔ Unique drink menu (Strawberry Earl Grey Milk Tea or Tiramisu Milk Tea) ✔ Extremely friendly service ✔ Offers ice cream/bingsu as well ✔ Reasonable drink pricing!

LOOK AT HOW REASONABLE THEIR PRICING IS! It is definitely cheaper than most of the "bigger" chains so you truly get your bang for your buck at this one 😍

Honestly, their milk tea is really delicious and at the prices they charge, it would be ridiculous to not give them my business! The only thing truly stopping me from making this place my go-to choice is that it's so far from where I live 😭

Stingy. Paid $.75 for bubbles amd they gave me a spoonful of it. To me BBT is all about bubbles and when you were given that little...it ruins everything. We ordered 3 drinks and added bubbles to all and 2 layers bubbles is all we got. The milk tea tastes pretty good, the lychee oolong is all right. But the bubbles...not again. There are so many options out there I dont need to settle for this. 5 mins drive to what I call Bbt plaza(midland ave north of finch. think it is Sky City plaza) There you can find Alley, Tiger, Suntea, Chatime, Cha Miao Miao, xin Fu Tang, Bon Tea, Bobba Boy, Machi Machi, TP Tea, Mogee. And if all fails there is always my favourite ,the super consistent Coco down the street. I ordered on app so cannot say much about the service so I gave it a 3. 12/29/2023 I updated the rating to 2 star from 1 because Shuyi Metro Sq beat them in EVERY aspect. So my last Palgontea experience was not as bad...
