I went in there before it was opened when they were training their staff. The owners were there by themselves and offered me the sample for free. I had chicken shawarma ,fries and sprite for free. The staff was pretty nice. The interior and decorum looked elegant. Shwarma and fries were good too. I went there after the opening and ordered Beef shwarma and falafel with coke. The wrap was broken apart and stuff was coming out of it.They put too much beetroot in it and i could just taste the beetroot. The beef tasted stale .I was pretty disappointed .The falafel was the saving grace . It was so crunchy, not the best but definitely quite good. The coke can costs 2.49 +tax which is quite ridiculous for takeout. The service was ultra slow .It was not even busy and it took them a long time which i did not experience in the first visit .Everyone was nice but staff looked a bit confused. The 3 stars are for the taste and service for the first time plus their decor. I hope they improve when i visit next time.

One of THE BEST Falafel in the town. The falafel is freshly made, super crisp on the outside and spongy, airy and soft on the inside. Delicious falafels with pickled veggies, onions and hummus on the side. One of the must try dish. We ordered Tabliyeh Saj chicken shawarma wrap. It was subtle and decent with no overpowering sauce and when we wanted it to be spicy, they gave spicy sauce on the side along with garlic sauce and french fries.Garlic sauce was so good, fresh and flavourful. If you want spicy Chicken shawarma, then this is not for you. The decor is neat and decent. There is one single restroom for everyone regardless of gender, which was not my personal preference, though the restrooms were neat. They have prayer room as well. The place is wheel chair accessible and they have high chairs on the front as well. The food is flavourful and freshly made. Decent and nice middle eastern place to try 🙂👍

Went in last Friday for lunch and decided to do in person dining (there were 2 other diners). We went to counter and person advised we could take a seat and order.( she was aloof and not very friendly. Waitstaff (same lady) came over to get out order and seemed annoyed that it took us all of 2 minutes to look at menu - so we ordered two soft drinks to start. When she returned we ordered a chicken shwarma pita and beef ( both came with a side of fries) Meals were delicious and fresh. However this lady was so rude and unpleasant ( she actually made us feel like we were bothering her). She must have gotten the hint that she had poor attitude because for the first time in a very long time - we left "0"tip!! Go for the food but don't expect decent customer service.

I came in yesterday with my mother on her birthday weekend in the afternoon thinking that it would be a nice treat. They actually got her upset, customer service was horrible and disappointing. Arzu was the server, she served us a hummus with 2 pita bread and 2 meals without pita bread. When we asked for more, she took 15 minutes to get us pita bread while we are holding off on eating. 2 other individuals got served before us with pita bread and we left hanging. It wasnt busy, only one table other than ours and a takeway order.

I got up to ask for our pita bread and it looked like the manager was there and said its not ready, I pointed to the ready pita breads and he realized it was so served us.

Then Arzu charged us for the extra pita bread which was supposed to come with our meal, and had an explanation that the charge is as only 2 come with the hummus and the rest is not complimentary, the manager had the same story as the menu had changed. We called the markham location and they said that you get 2 with hummus, 1 additional complimentary on the house if you ask for more and 1 with each meal. We should have received 5 complimentary but got 2 only and also Arzu purposely delayed serving us. Very disappointing after spending $80 and also they looked down on us as if we were nothing. Customer service is paramount, Mr. Fakih would be disappointed knowing this. It is just the principle and lying to our face didnt help with the care free attitude of ignoring us and not serving us as expected at a restaurant. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with...

It's is a Saturday night and we just came back from this place.

Waitress was either busy or inexperienced. People ordered after us got their food well prior to us getting ours.

Our appetizers were seating on the rack ready to be served for at least 20 minutes until I actually pointed at them to be brought over. Falafel came without the sauce, had to ask for it repeatedly, but doubt the correct one was brought to the table.

Mix grill - beef was dry and hard to cut/chew.

Repeatedly had to ask for bread.

'Fresh homemade bread straight from the oven' comes out of the plastic bag. Can someone explain it to me?

Chicken dishes were good.

The additonal order of main, was yet again on the rack for 15 minutes. I actually timed it. Again - no bread came with it until we asked. Twice. Still never got it.

Overall - some food is good (not amazing), some very dry. Service - non existent. For this price, go somewhere else.

The same restaurant across from Eaton center was always good to us, unlike this location. Hire more staff!!!

However, all the staff is pleasant, just not very effective.

And after all they still have the audacity to suggest 20% tip!!!

It was hard to decide on giving the 2 or 3 stars, but based on the price, service, and past experience from a different location decided on 2 stars. If the service was better, rating would be higher. Yet beef was really dry, prices are fairly high comparing to...

Paramount Management,

I hope this message finds you well. I have been contemplating writing a review for Paramount for some time now and I believe it is time to express my thoughts. As an individual of Lebanese background, I must say that Paramount is one of the closest Middle Eastern Lebanese restaurants one can find. However, it is important to note that not everything is on par with the quality I would expect back in Lebanon.

My main concern revolves around the exorbitant prices charged for the food and beverages. To provide some context, a meal consisting of two sandwiches, a cocktail drink, and one Zaatar Manish amounted to approximately $90 Canadian. ( 1 manoushie for 6 dollars cmon.. ) In comparison, the same order back in Lebanon would cost no more than $12. Additionally, a Shawarma dish with fries priced at $17to $25 seems unjustifiable when the portion lacks an adequate amount of meat, containing at best 3 ounces of chicken or two.

I am disappointed with the perceived lack of quality and value for money in the food offered at Paramount. I believe it is necessary for the management to reassess the menu and make necessary adjustments to the pricing structure. By doing so, it will not only attract more satisfied customers but also ensure a more equitable dining experience. Paramount has the potential to be an outstanding establishment, and I trust that you will strive for excellence in all aspects of...
