Terrible Experience at Pita Land Shawarma
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visits to Pita Land Shawarma at 3650 Langstaff Rd, Woodbridge. As a loyal customer since day one, I've been visiting this restaurant three days a week due to its proximity to my company. However, my last two visits have been a complete letdown.
Food Quality Issues
On July 29, 2025, I ordered a chicken kebab plate and chicken souvlaki for takeout, which was not properly cooked, and the meat had a strong, unpleasant smell. This is unacceptable, especially considering the restaurant's usual high standards.
Dining Experience
My last dine-in visit was also a disaster. The inside was too hot, and I had to change to takeout. I've always appreciated Pita Land's healthy food options, but now I'm losing faith.
Loss of Loyalty
I'm shocked by the decline in food quality and customer service. If immediate action isn't taken, I'm afraid I'll lose customers like me. I'm even considering contacting the public health department to request regular inspections.
Rating

Read moreI went in at 10:15pm to get a wrap and a soup and was told that they had just thrown out the soup as they close in 40 minutes! I dont know about anyone else but 40 minutes is a long time before closing and not to mention a waste of food. 5 minutes before closing I could understand. What happened to cleaning up after closing? Either the employees are taking advantage or the owners don't want to pay them. Either way it's bad! If you dont want to pay your employees to stay after closing or don't want to hold them accountable for things like this, then close your doors! I don't know what's going on with Pita Land as a company but I would seriously start holding their franchisees accountable. They used to be my favourite place now they are far from it. My recommendation is go somewhere else. Their are lots of Shawarma places around the area like Mr.Zagros which in my opinion is gonna put Pita Land out of business if they...
Read moreExtremely Disappointing and Unsafe Experience
I ordered chicken shawarma, garlic potatoes, and a falafel bowl for Canada Day, and it was one of the worst food experiences I’ve had. The chicken shawarma had a foul smell and tasted off—clearly not fresh and potentially spoiled. The garlic potatoes were mushy and more like mashed potatoes than roasted or seasoned sides.
To make matters worse, the sauce containers were not sealed properly, and by the time we reached our destination, everything had spilled and created a huge mess. It was disgusting, and we felt sick after trying the food.
I don’t normally write reviews, but this was unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to be cautious, and I hope the restaurant takes food safety and proper packaging...
