Greek Brothers — Restaurant in Vaughan

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for quite some time and although at times I experience very poor customer service skills, my recent experience has left me fed up. I went in a few days ago and purchased a salad and a side set of chicken sticks. I didn’t realize that I was charged $32 when the usual cost of this meal is $23. I went back the next day once I realized that I was overcharged and I politely let the bearded man behind the cash register know that this had happened. I wasn’t asking for a refund nor was I trying to create an issue, I was simply letting him know that I was overcharged. His response to this was that he “never makes mistakes”, also saying that he “needs to see proof of purchase”.. First of all, everyone makes mistakes no matter how hard they try not to, in customer service especially it is important to hear out your customers and try to address their concerns appropriately so that they continue using your services. Secondly, as a returning customer I usually don’t ask for the receipt because I trust the people that I had on multiple occasions purchased food from. The two employees at this restaurant have extremely poor customer service skills. They are also extremely cheap when it comes to food size portions. They ripped me off for $9 and had no intentions of accommodating me once I brought that to their attention. Not only did they lose a loyal customer but they will lose potential future customers because I will do whatever it takes to make sure that people DO NOT go to this restaurant. Also, for the brothers working at this restaurant, please lower your ego. You act as if you were gods that needed to be worshipped but realistically you’re ungrateful people that work night and day selling chicken and the only thing you do right is provide horrible...

The food was great I gotta give it that at least. Service was disgusting. Took me standing for about 10 mins before I was even acknowledged by anyone working there, all of which avoiding all eye contact possible.

When I went To leave I had a lot of leftover food and wanted to bring home what was left. When I went to ask for a container I was directed to a tiny container that wouldn’t even come close to fitting my leftover food, When I asked for a larger container sitting right next to the tiny container I was told that by policy they are only allowed to give these tiny containers and I can take as many as I would like of them but the larger containers were for take out orders only. I even offered to pay for a normal adults sized container and was still refused. The know it all bearded gentleman behind the counter continued to ask me to stop and not make a big deal about why I can’t receive one of these “special” containers like any other restaurant in the city would give. He then explained how he could sit for a good 15 mins as to why they can’t give these out to paying customers.

I don’t want to take 5 small plastic containers and separate all the food I’ve purchased. Who wants that! 1. Waste of plastic. 2. Rude. 3. Cheap place and people. Hopefully not a reflection of the quality of ingredients they purchase... number one rule when dealing with people is customer service. I don’t care at all if you have the best product in the city. Treat people badly and the view of your business will...

This food was terrible!! the owner was racist to my family and watched us the whole time we were there in case we would do something bad. The second my arab family walked in, she seemed upset. We picked up a napkin container thinking it was okay since the table next to us did the same. The moment we picked it up, she came to grab it from our table and screamed: 'this is for everybody to share'. We told her that the other table did the same job and she told us not to copy others, like thanks for the inspiring words mrs owner but i don't need you to tell me that while i am eating. The chicken was so dry, tasteless and seemed very old just by the looks of it. The table next to us left their trays and their garbage on the table, the 'owner' came to clean it up once they left. When we got up to leave, we left our trays along with our garbage on the table as well thinking she would do her job and clean it up but instead she told us to throw it out and once i told her it's her job and asked why she didn't tell the table next to us to throw their garbage, she told us to leave immediately. i told her the food was old and tasted very bad, she said to the other customers waiting to order 'they come to our country and this is what they do'. i have never been this disrespected in my life.
