Thought they made a mistake today on entering price in machine. Price for food is $16 (most popular menu item), but the guy said $18 and punched it in. Was distracted, so didn't click in until shortly after. Felt purposeful. Then opened up reviews and notice there are many people who seem to have save experience. What's more... Any critical feedback is met with passive aggressive replies from owners. Zero customer service skills. Unethical practices. Ok food (mine was warm at best). I know that my review will be met with passive aggressiveness and denial... But hey, let the owners do what's expected of them in this case... Cuz it's not happening in the restaurant. Update after restaurant response: Having a big menu list in your restaurant with old pricing and not at all communicating that a customer will be paying more will certainly have people feel slighted. I have no clue why this place has such a good rating. We tried it for the first time tonight based on the reviews, but the second I saw the food behind the counter I started to question it. Nothing looked appetizing but we were hungry so we went with it. My boyfriend and I both got the 1/4 chicken dark meat with two sides. I got the potatoes (which were luke warm) and the chickpea salad (also warm....). My boyfriend got the red beans and the pasta salad. When we got home I tried a bite of my boyfriend’s pasta salad before he did and immediately told him to not eat it. It was WARM and the mayo dressing tasted very off to the point that if he did eat it I’m sure he’d get food poisoning. Both of our salads were very bland and had no flavour. I actually felt a bit ill after eating the chickpea salad. The chicken tasted good, but it wasn’t fresh. There was just a bunch of chicken sitting on the grill ready to be ordered. Extremely clean place I really enjoyed watching the culture at work. There great people, always very friendly and welcoming the place kinda has a homie feeling very comfortable atmosphere and last but not least we save the best for last. I must say my expert opinion as a foodist, and professional feedback on this franchise as a whole will have to b 10/10 5 star review I've been there multiple times and the people that work there always push for me to eat something new and so far every single plate was absolutely amazing.
