Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Vaughan

Time of Visit: Monday, January 30 @ 2:25pm Second time visiting this location, the first time I had an amazing experience however on todays visit I was greeted with impatience and a visible rudeness. Upon asking what base sauce options they have the lady repeatedly told me “tomatoes and cheese” as if my question was a bother to her. Upon looking at the menu i chose the pesto option that was available. The pizza itself was great however the service makes one want to avoid coming here. When you are working in a service industry - all customers should be greeted with patience, helpfulness & at least a smile. Not rushed through like it was a bother to help us. At about 9:30 pm, I entered this establishment with the intention of ordering some pizza and I witnessed the person behind the counter, preparing the pizza box on the tabletop. I noticed that the white sheet of paper that is placed under the pizza, fell on the floor. The person behind the counter took it from the floor and placed it back into the pizza box. I addressed the issue as he came to the cash to place my order and he ignored me. I addressed it again and he continued to ignore me. At this moment, I walked away and exited the store. I have contacted Pizza Nova's head office and submitted a complaint. I will follow up with them this week. During a time where COVID is significantly an issue, proper sanitary measures should be at its peak and I was thoroughly disappointed with the lack of food safety etiquette...

Worst customer service by IMANI. I wish i could give less than 0 star or no star. Racism is on top priority by her. She does talk such a rubbish and rude with own community and very polite with white people. How can someone be such a biased. She is in CANADA which is a diverse cultural country. To Manager, you should handle this carefully or otherwise she will go such a beyond level of racism so your restaurant will suffer one day. We did dine in for $56 order and in return she was doing stupid things and making weird faces while taking orders or delivering the ready food....
