I’ve literally just gotten in from a late birthday dinner at Nascosto with my best friend but we had such a great time I couldn’t wait to rave about it. Service was incredible from the second we pulled into the parking lot. There’s free valet parking on the weekends that I wasn’t aware of, so I had already started backing into one of the few spots in front of the restaurant before the valet quickly waved at us to let us know he could valet my car if I wanted. I was already halfway into the spot so I politely declined and finished parking on my own, but the valet was so sweet and funny saying encouraging things while as I finished parking. He directed us to the restaurant and bathroom entrance when we arrived and greeted us goodnight on our way out. I only wish I asked for his name! We arrived about 30 minutes early for our 7pm reservation but we were seated immediately. The ambiance inside the dining room was immaculate, dimly lit but not too dark and beautiful modern decor. We absolutely loved our server, Remi! He was so kind, accommodating and walked us through all of the featured items in addition to any questions we had about the menu. He was so knowledgeable about the restaurant’s background, menu selection and honestly made us feel like we were chatting with a friend everytime he came by. Remi was consistent in checking in on us without ever hovering and we never felt like we were being rushed - overall made us so comfortable and made the entire experience that much more enjoyable. Another man who we believe was the owner also came around to all the tables and checked in with us twice to make sure everything was to our satisfaction, which I feel is a rare experience nowadays and was very much appreciated. We were started off with warm bread paired with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread wasn’t too dense which was a pleasant surprise because it’s easy to fill up on bread before meals. We ordered the feature pizza (mushroom/truffle) and the artichoke hearts to share - both absolutely delicious. The base sauce for the pizza was a delicious creamy mushroom truffle sauce and the pizza was topped with sliced mushrooms and thin slices of speck that added a nice saltiness to the otherwise rich pizza. The artichoke hearts were nice and tender, deep fried with a light crispy batter and balanced out with a lemon aioli and pesto. We tried the ravioli pere e gorgonzola and the mafalde ai funghi for our mains - both also super delicious. The ravioli was served in a light butter sage sauce and had small chunks of pear that added some freshness to the pasta. The mafalde was rich with freshly shaved parmesan and several slices of fresh truffles. Remi surprised me at the end of the night with a birthday tiramisu which was so light and not too strong on the espresso which is how I prefer my tiramisu! I honestly never write reviews this long but we were both raving from the moment we sat down for dinner and throughout the drive home. We cannot say enough good things about Nascosto. From the service down to the food, everything exceeded expectations and my best friend and I have resolved to make this one of our regular girls’ night dinner spot. We can’t wait to come back, thank you to all for such a special night! ◡̈

A Smooth 5 Stars! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Nacosto Ristorante and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a mesmerizing location, Nacosto offers a delightful blend of traditional Italian cuisine with a modern twist. **Ambiance and Decor:** The moment you step inside Nacosto, you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. Shoutout to *Timo* who delivered a 10/10 hosting experience! The decor is elegant yet cozy, with tasteful lighting and beautifully set tables that create an intimate dining experience. The attention to detail in the interior design reflects the restaurant's commitment to quality. **Service:** The service at Nacosto is impeccable. *Julian and Timo* in particular made us feel like family. They went above and beyond and exceeded our highest of expectations! **Food:** The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the food. Each item was fresh and flavourful, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. Every item we ordered was better than our expectations. The drinks were mixed to perfection, and can easily beat the best of high-end establishments in the downtown core. Presentation was a 10/10 and the flavours were delightful. The team of Chef's are masters at their craft! Nacosto Ristorante is a gem in Vaughan, offering a perfect blend of exquisite food, excellent service, and a charming ambiance. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or simply a great meal, Nacosto delivers on all fronts. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning for another memorable dining experience. Rating: ★★★★★

From the moment you step through the doors of Nascosto Ristorante, you know you’re in for something extraordinary. The ambiance is a flawless 10/10—a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy intimacy. Dim lighting, soft music, and thoughtfully curated decor create an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and welcoming. Now let’s talk about the food—absolutely outstanding. Every dish is a masterpiece, from the fresh, handmade pastas to the exquisitely prepared seafood and decadent desserts. The flavors are vibrant, authentic, and beautifully balanced. You can tell each plate is crafted with care, passion, and culinary artistry. You must try the calamari fritti with peppers, penne alla vodka, steak finished with sea salt and seafood board with salmon , shrimp , branzino, lobster tail was the hit of the party. The ricotta donuts are to die for ! A staple of this restaurant. And then there’s the service—impeccable in every sense of the word. The staff are attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable, and make you feel like a valued guest from start to finish. Their recommendations were spot-on and delivered with genuine warmth and professionalism. Nascosto Ristorante isn’t just a meal—it’s a memorable experience. A hidden gem that deserves every bit of praise. I can’t wait to return! My favorite spot. Thank you Kristin and Timo and their staff for the attention to detail for my sons communion and making each and every one of us feel like family. ❣️

The restaurant not only meets but indeed exceeds expectations with its exceptional cuisine and impeccable service, creating a memorable dining experience that resonates with its patrons long after they leave. Each dish served is a culinary masterpiece, reflecting the heart and soul of Italian culinary traditions with an authenticity that transports guests straight to the vibrant streets of Italy. From the moment you step through the door, you are greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that feels both elegant and comfortable. The decor is thoughtfully curated, showcasing elements of Italian culture, with rustic wooden tables, exquisite artwork, and soft, ambient lighting that sets the perfect mood for a delightful meal. The staff, dressed in traditional attire, exude a level of professionalism that complements the restaurant's dedication to giving every customer a unique, personalized experience. Once seated, diners are presented with a menu brimming with an array of delectable options that highlight the richness of Italian cuisine. Each dish is crafted from the finest ingredients, sourced locally and imported directly from Italy, ensuring every bite is bursting with authentic flavors. The pasta is made fresh daily, with various shapes and forms that reflect regional Italian styles. Diners can indulge in classic favorites such as handmade fettuccine tossed in a creamy Alfredo sauce that seems to melt in your mouth, or the sumptuous lasagna layered with rich meats, cheeses, and a homemade marinara that evokes the comforting taste of a traditional Italian home. The pizza, cooked in a stone oven, is another highlight of the menu, featuring thin, crisp crusts topped with a harmonious blend of fresh tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, fragrant basil, and a choice of artisanal toppings. Each slice is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to excellence, embodying the spirit of Italian cuisine while catering to modern palates. Beyond the main courses, the restaurant’s appetizers are equally enticing. Guests can savor a variety of antipasto platters, offering a delightful assortment of cured meats, cheeses, olives, and marinated vegetables. The bruschetta, with its delightful topping of fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil on toasted bread, serves as the perfect starter, awakening the taste buds and setting the stage for the meal that follows. Desserts at this restaurant present another delightful surprise. A selection of traditional Italian sweets, such as tiramisu and panna cotta, are expertly crafted to provide a sweet conclusion to the meal. Each dessert is elegantly presented, capturing not only the eye but also the palate with flavors that celebrate the essence of Italian confectionery. The experience is completed with the choice of an expansive wine list, featuring the finest selections from various regions in Italy, ensuring that every dish can be paired with the perfect wine to elevate the dining experience. Moreover, the service in this remarkable restaurant is nothing short of exceptional. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to provide recommendations tailored to individual tastes. Whether it’s offering insights into the origins of a dish or suggesting a wine pairing to enhance the dining experience, the waitstaff are genuinely passionate about ensuring that every guest feels valued and well-cared for. In addition to the outstanding food and service, the restaurant frequently hosts events that celebrate Italian culture, from wine tastings to themed evenings showcasing regional specialties. These events not only provide guests with an opportunity to explore and appreciate Italian culture further but also foster a sense of community among those who share a love for exquisite cuisine. Wow. There are some special things about this meal that are hard to duplicate. Well done, Nascosto, for a fantastic dinner.

We had a party of 5. We ordered 2 antipasti, 3 pasta, and a secondi. The meal was reasonably priced for the quality and venue.

Burrata: One of the better Burrata's i've ever had, but that pancetta chutney? Bury me in that. I could spread that on an old hockey card and enjoy it.

Fritto Misto: Pretty standard. The sauces were very nice, and the batter was crispy till the end. I don't even like calamari, but I ate this one. Nice peppers, very good chili sauce.

Paccheri Guanchale: Rich, full of flavour, a real ragu that leans heavily on the richness of the Guanchale and holds back on tomato. Paccheri tends to go a bit flat, but it stayed firm right to the end.

Gnocchi: Gnocchi is gnocchi, right? Some people like them pillowy soft, some people like the with a firmer bite. I'd say this one was in the middle. Nothing amazing, but the gnocchi itself was done nicely.

Veal Special: I never got to taste this one, but the guest who ate it said that it was very good, but he just wanted more.

Filletto: That steak is basically perfect in just about every way. Right amount of char, melts in your mouth, i could cut it with a fork, and the arugula puree was a complete showstopper. Wow. I never would have thought that it pairs so perfectly with the beef. I was impressed. The accoutrements on the secondi was a bit pedestrian, some flaccid, lukewarm onions and smashed red potatoes that didn't really add to the dish. Sure, it's meat and potatoes with a veg. I think this dish can be craveable if the onions and potatoes were either replaced completely or done with a bit more flair.

All in all, 4 out of 5. Great spot for romantic dinners or a quiet get-together with family. Clever name considering the location. We will...
