Horrible experience and even worse customer service! My fiancé and I booked with this restaurant back in Feb of this year. Due to all the Covid restrictions&recent passing of a family member, we opted for a smaller intimate wedding instead of the large banquet hall wedding we 1st booked. We had met with the owner Tony, who seemed incredibly accommodating. We were a party of 25 ppl looking to have a small dinner reception for 3 hrs with a first dance, parent dances, & speeches. Tony had agreed to give us the back end of the restaurant as there was more privacy there. He also agreed upon several other logistical factors (set up time, bringing our own music, etc). He assured us everything would be looked after and gave us his word. Flash forward to two days ago, 2 months before my wedding… we went back to the restaurant to finalize details with Aradena(Tony's daughter). To all of our surprise, everything promised to us by Tony was 1.The opposite of what he had committed to and 2.Most things could not be accommodated anymore based on what was initially told to us. The biggest issue of all being that we would not have the back end of the restaurant exclusively to ourselves. Because we are under 50 ppl, they were now no longer willing to give us the full back end as initially discussed, instead, would sit other random people coming for dinner around us. I think it’s very reasonable that something as intimate as a wedding would want to be experienced in the privacy and intimacy of family members only (not strangers). I expressed this to Tony before signing and he agreed to give us the space. Months later, he now denies &kept denying ever committing to that, meanwhile we were ALL at the first meeting with him&ALL heard him say that. It really feels like now that restrictions have eased, these owners are prioritizing making more $$ by squeezing in other customers in the space where our event was booked. Their lack of integrity&sensitivity to the entire experience was completely disappointing. The best they could offer to us was for us to either to pay for 25 extra plates to meet the minimum requirement or to have our event in the presence of complete strangers. The owner even had the audacity to now say “I can’t give you the entire back end, it doesn’t work for me, it’s business”. 2 months before the wedding, everything discussed has been completely changed on us. We would’ve never booked here if we could not have some privacy for our mini reception. TO TOP IT OFF, which made the experience that much worse for us, some lady who claimed to be another owner inserted herself in the very end of the convo, giving attitude and was extremely rude to both me&my mom, don't even know her name because she never introduced herself. As anyone can imagine, a wedding day is very special, especially for Covid couples that have lost thousands of dollars and/or family members. Instead of showing sympathy and understanding, this lady came in attacking. She even told me that I am acting on emotion which is why I seem upset, rather than being logical. Can you imagine? The utter lack of sensitivity to such a situation. They will show you kindness when they have your business, but the second they no longer do, they disrespect you. Also, they did not once own up to their mistake in agreeing to giving us the back end of the restaurant, and insisted they never said that, which is not true. They won't take accountability for what happened&I won't be surprised if they respond to this trying to defend themselves. We will no longer be doing our wedding here due to huge miscommunication and contradictions, and also due to the lack of customer attention and care. For all brides/people who want to book a “private” event here-really think again, and if you’re adamant about booking here, get ALL details in writing! Big lesson learned for me; no matter how friendly&accommodating business owners seem to be, do not trust them on kindness alone, business is business..Give your business to ppl who truly will go out of their way to care about you&who...

From the moment we stepped through the doors to inquire about booking the event space, the atmosphere enveloped us in warmth and elegance, with a delightful touch of Italy that made me feel right at home. Pina, along with the owner Tony and the rest of the staff, were an absolute pleasure to work with. They made the entire process seamless and enjoyable, going above and beyond to ensure that every detail of the event was tailored to perfection.
The ambiance of the venue itself was simply enchanting, offering an intimate setting that set the perfect tone for our celebration. And let's talk about the food! The dishes served during the event were exceptional, each one crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delectable spread, along with the impeccable service.
I must also mention that aside from hosting my bridal shower, I have dined at Villaggio Ristorante for lunch and dinner on previous occasions, and each time my experience with both the food and service has been nothing short of impeccable.
Overall, Villaggio Ristorante proved to be an outstanding choice for hosting any special occasion. I'm already eagerly looking forward to returning for future events and dining experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a memorable event space with top-notch service.

Read moreMy mom and I recently had the pleasure and honour of working with Antonio and Pina to plan my father’s 60th birthday. They were a dream to work with, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, accommodating and quick to respond. From the early stages of planning, to the actual day of, Pina, and the Villagio staff were attentive and an absolute delight. The wait staff continuously checked in with all guests asking for drinks and ensuring that each guest wanted for nothing.
The ambiance of the venue itself was chic and modern. The whole restaurant was renovated not so long ago and is simple, elegant, bright, and airy. We held the birthday in the front room, the space uses plenty of glass and wood to create an intimate, comfortable setting that is perfect for an intimate event. The glass enclosed wine cellar is a stunning decor piece that adds to the decor of any event.
The food…well I wish we were able to rate higher than 5. Every course came out hot and perfectly cooked, of note the pasta was al dente which is not always an easy thing to achieve. The portions were abundant and many guest took food home for the next day.
Overall, Villaggio Ristorante proved to be an excellent choice for hosting any special occasion. Also wanted to mention that it is also an excellent place to go for a romantic, group or family dinner. The level of attention and quality of food does not change. We can’t wait to go back for future events and dining experiences. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a memorable event space with top-notch service.
Thank you Pina and team...
