Disappointing experience. Ordered mushroom poutine as part of my meal, but the employee taking my order punched in the standard poutine and walked away without giving me my receipt. She came back to ask if I ordered the mushroom poutine and I confirmed. She let me know she put the wrong thing in and I would have to pay the difference. I didn't argue that, but I have never seen any fast food restaurant ask for that based on an error on their part. When it was rang up on the till, she put it in for $0.70. The mushroom poutine is advertised as $5.79 and the regular is $5.19. So the difference should be $0.60 + tax. It went on for maybe 10 minutes and three employees for me to explain that they should be charging 60 cents + tax instead of punching in the post tax difference as 70 cents already included tax as the difference and they would be double charging on the tax (not to mention that 70 cents is rounded up if it were a cash payment). In the end they made it so I paid 70 cents only without double tax, but what a ridiculous display of customer service. It was laughable that 1) they went through all that effort for the measly amount of mushrooms added to the poutine and 2) they lost a customer who was waiting in line to order (who was likely to spend more than 60-70 cents, but couldn't because of the lengthy pathetic exchange. Read moreI was there to buy a combo for my kid, my kid wants a small poutine ( instead of small fries). Other Wendy’s usually will switch it. This restaurant said it can not, I have to buy separately, that is not a problem, but then I will have to throw away fries. The server does not want to do that, instead he wants me to buy a poutine separately. Then there is another female shows up and said she can switch it to poutine. She print it on screen and asked me to pay it, then I turn around to pay it, she quickly reversed the screen to original order( which is fries instead of poutine). After I found out from the receipt, they argued that is what you ordered, they can not change it. And after my son got the combo) chicken salad Cesar), the salad is going bad already(rotten). I showed to them, they said their salad is all fresh, they do not know where I got these rotten salad. Their attitudes is very bad and rude. Wendy’s used to be a nice fast food restaurant, but recent years these low quality staff start working here, the service, food quality and safety are down to the bottom. Read moreIt’s been 2 years I’m coming to this Wendy’s.i always see this women misbehaving with all crew !but I never wrote anything but today I couldn’t stop myself.when I went to get my breakfast there around 9/10 there was a girl with pink lipstick and glasses don’t know her name most probably a crew member maybe shes new as I saw her past few weeks.she served me before she was very nice and kind.she was going on her break and that manager with black sweater I believe her name is mandap as other person was calling her,she was harassing her and being super rude with that poor child was defending herself but the evil manager kept on going with nagging and being rude to her.management should take action for such behaviour which crew goes thru. crew members runs a store they do all hard work and still they have to go thru work place harassment and other managers and management not doing anything is very disheartening.
