Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Victoria

My husband and I went to Dairy Queen on Hillside on April 7th at 6:30. The lady who seemed to be in charge was rude and dismissive. The two young lads that were working were kind and cheerful. We ordered a wrap; which was good, and a chicken bites bowl with 8 pieces. I had decided on no ranch and an extra dipping sauce. While we waited the lady in charge said "Go stand in there, your orders not ready please." We got our order, I checked it and had decided on a ranch dressing and had asked for it. She said "Well then I'm going to have to charge you for it". I said "Then take out the extra sauce." She did take it out, gave me the ranch. I said "Thank you, and we will never be in this store again." We took our order and left. When we opened it up, (adding insult to injury), there were only 6 pieces of chicken instead of the 8, I had ordered. Pieces of the salad were on the verge of slim (the dark green sticky decayed leaves). Tomatoes tasted off. Couldn't eat the salad, but ate the chicken. The chicken was on the dry side; thank goodness for the sauce! We as a large family have been coming to this location for decades. Sorry, no one should be treated in a rude and dismissive manner. Went at 7:45 tonight and was not impressed. Cashier could not understand my order (English learner, which is fine, but it was frustrating) and I had to repeat it 4 times. She gave me the receipt for someone else's order, and I had to remind her of the second cup for my order. It took at least 15 minutes for the burgers to be cooked and during that time I got to see the young man working behind the tills argue with his girlfriend about taking a smoke break, and chase another girl around hitting her rear with a paper towel, and exclaim how disgusting the blizzard machine was as he wiped it down (as my 6 year old was eating a blizzard they had just made with that machine). To top it all off they got both burger orders wrong (cheeseburgers with very stale buns instead of ultimate burgers), which I didn't realize until I got home.

This is just a crappy fast food chain and I get that nobody working there really cares about their DQ careers, but this was pretty pathetic. I won't come here again.

I have been to this location 3 separate times. The first time I ordered a blizzard, and it was served to me basically as a soupy mess. when it was turned upside down I was concerned it would fall out of the cup. I had to go home and put it in the freezer to avoid eating a disgusting liquid blizzard. The second time I had ordered a chocolate dipped cone with sprinkles and the ice cream and chocolate was basically spilling over the cone to the point it was dripping on me multiple times on my ride home, on top of the poorly made cone they used small grainy sprinkles rather than the proper long coloured ones which in turn basically ruined the cone. The last time I went I just wanted chicken strips and they wouldn't serve me them even though they didn't close for another couple hours. I suggest the staff get retrained and take their job seriously because from discussing with friends and seeing reviews online this establishment is going downhill very quickly and should be completely re-staffed or shut down all together.
