please forget about COVID19 and how we don't want to spread germs but basic sanitary practices would be nice, like sushi chef it is appreciated you assisting with order and cleaning table, however i didn't notice you washing your hands after, and even if you did, what happened to using gloves while making sushi it look horrible from a customer point of view the rice was stuck on your palms in passing
knowing cost of food supply had give up and the price has not i still have to give them a poor review , just look at the amount of rice in the bento box. i would have preferred no rice, or charge more, wondering if this even a teaspoon with three pieces of what is supposed to be teriyaki chicken (never knew it was deep fried, wouldn't this be katsu ?)
the sashimi temperature warm and so incredibly thin almost see through. before i could request two miso or substituted more rice even though more than now, but this last trip nope only salad no changes.
tea well yes i got a cup when sat down but no refills even asking twice. food was salty and with even one sushi chef i must say 35 minutes for a bento and roll at lunch is so unreasonable especially when he was sloppy the rolls fall apart when picked up to eat. not to mention that i had to wait ten minutes for a table
gyoza in the bento was premade, because it tasted rubbery hard and cold, but was cooked.
the women's bathroom floor was slippery and oily felt they used same mop in kitchen and facilities. parking in the rear only one spot on side of the dispensers and i was told can't park there from some old guy monitoring parking lot, although no signage and was told park in next plaza for 30 minutes limit but to food took longer than allowed time to be served, I was kind of concerned would get a ticket, so maybe it was good reason why portions are small
so much disappointment with this restaurant on this last visit they used to be so good but it get worst each time. i don't think i will be returning anytime soon especially of...

Ordered 1 avocado roll, 1 dynamite and 1BC roll. Food came... And the rice was so dry I definetly needed my water at that point. Reminded the waitress nicely finally got my water. Went to try to eat my dynamite and bc roll and the rolls were so massive that when I picked it up and completely fell apart on my plate. Crab portions tasted old in my sushi almost from a can and there was warm lettuce in my sushi.
No big deal things happen I understand, I proceeded to eat my small avocado rolls as I wasn't feeling well at that point. Went to go pay and I told the waitress I wasn't feeling well as there was an issue with some of the food. Got told " that's to bad". Paid $30 to eat a mouse size portion.
Yep. I guess "...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi Island, and it was hands down one of the best sushi experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional touches.
The service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations based on my preferences.
Now, onto the star of the show—the sushi. Each piece was a masterpiece, crafted with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was absolutely stunning. The Sake Toro Battera and Volcano Roll and was a standout, with melt-in-your-mouth texture and vibrant flavors that left me wanting more.
Overall, Sushi Island exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back for another unforgettable...
