Read moreHILLSIDE I decided to try my first fatburger. I was out a week ago and was in Hillside and saw the restaurant. The minute I stepped to the counter the girl was like can I help you? I said I need a minute that I’ve never been there before and I wanted to make sure I got some thing I wanted. Then one of the three cooks in the back yelled at the girl to take care of me. I was like you know chill everybody. Anyway, decided on the cheeseburger deluxe and really loved it. It was so tasty and the bacon was nice and well done so it wasn’t pulling like an elastic when I bit into it. I got a combo and got the yam fries… I had to take them home. There was so many and I just heated them up the next day and they were just as good. The staff are a little abrasive. I did ask for Coke four times before the front counter person figured it out and then when I got my order for pick up, I asked for ketchup and she said it’s in the bag. Empty the bag no ketchup went back. Ask for ketchup big fight between that mouthy lady Cook again and the front girl and I’m like thinking my food’s getting cold to myself. Maybe work on the PR skills and stop yelling at the front person because it makes me feel like I had rush and I don’t wanna be rushed when I’m eating or...
Read moreUgg. Well that was bad. I'd never tried this franchise. I doubt I ever will eat their food again. Bad kitchen hygiene. Wouldn't recommend going here ever. My first slurp of coke had "something hardish" in it. Gross. Spat out a large black chunk of goop with the consistency of slimy toothpaste. I'm assuming this is from not cleaning the lines of your beverage machine. Just gross. What a way to start a lunch. Its a food court, but it took them almost 15 mins to make the a basic king-burger and fries. I was their for a work lunch with my garden-crew. In 5 mins they had great A&W burgers, and in 10 mins they had eaten their meal. I still hadn't been served my fatburger. It just wasn't a good burger. Undercooked patty. Barely melted cheese. Limp flavourless lettuce and tomato. For the $18 they're wanting for the burger it was terrible. For that price we could have just gotten a burger at McCraes or 1550s and been served quicker too. Staff with limited english vocabulary and no eye-contact when they speak to you. It feels awkward to buy food from someone who's refusing to have a basic 30 second human...
