Kung Pao Wok — Restaurant in Victoria

I ordered a two item meal for about $11. See photos #2 and #3 in the photo section. By the look of it, it appears that one of the items were 30 good sized onions......nope! I ordered sweet and sour pork, Kung pao chicken and Shanghai noodles. Got 2 pieces of sweet sour pork, 30 onions, 2 tiny carrots, 2 small zucchini and one rotten green pepper. But the chicken and noodles did taste okay. This is not the first time this place cut corners. Not to mention the entire family that runs this place is always in a bad mood like they would rather be somewhere else. It's true, Hillside Mall is in bad shape financially, and they have trouble getting in good eating places and retail shops. But at least there is a new Walmart Superstore moving into the old Sears spot. And there is a great Taco Time with a wonderful owner/manager and the amazing...

Had curry beef and tofu as my two with rice. Tofu was pretty crap(only tasted) in fairness the beef was not edible was all tendon and I mean all tendon probably 10/90 ratio and not a lie of a word , thought I even seen tripe in there that's how bad it was. I get this stuff is eaten in certain cultures and totally fine but don't try and sell that as beef for top dollar Took my food back to the counter as I couldn't eat one piece of beef and I'm not a fussy eat at all at all. They all had confused look on their faces when I shown wtf they just served me and refused my money back but did offer other items. Hands down the worst Chinese food I've ever had . Not worth it. The food tastes like old furniture, not even mentioning how awful of the food quality and how little portion they serve you. $11 will buy you a meal to feed mice and you will regret that you didnt feed the mice but ate it all yourself. I hope you dont get diarrhea.

The family business is cheap as hell and not friendly to customers. I will never go there again even if I need to starve.

For $11, i would recommend Thaigo and Hiro if your looking in...
