I'm going to be frank here. For a mall location, this place is better than their flagship location downtown. Food wait was roughly 12 minutes, the chashu pork is as good as the former years at their main location and their egg for sure is done way better than their main location.

I tried their Menbow special with the added combo instead of my usual favorite shoyu tonkatsu. The broth is a bit on the rich side that I kinda wish I could request for a kaedama which they don't offer but some of their competitors in town and the mainland do. That's okay, I pretty much drown my rice bowl with the leftover broth.

They better fix their flagship location or else I'll be sticking...

I am regular customer who visit Menbow Ramen at least once in a week. I really love their food . I am really disappointed on my last visit to this location. I was there around 7.45pm, i saw that they already closed the kiosk. But i just enquired to one of the employee and they said its open though the mall close at 9pm. The employee never mentioned they are only doing take out while they took my order. When i received my order, i just got shocked because they made it as take out order. I felt like so disappointed because i was really enjoy it as a dine in and if its a take out i should not have ordered in the first place. I felt bad and i really think employees need...

This is my third and last time coming here. I first came when they had just opened, and it was pretty disappointing. I decided to wait a while before coming back, but it hasn't changed.

Broth recipe is whack, either that or the staff just ain't getting it right. Super salty and grainy, almost like they're just using some powdered broth mix. I don't know if that's the case, but that's the impression I'm left with. Pork is tough, noodles are meh.

If you're new to Ramen, I suppose it's passable, but honestly people are wayyy better off going to Arashi ramen. Tastier, better atmosphere, nicer staff, and you don't have to hear babies crying...

I mean, please look at the pics I upload here. Two pieces of thin sliced burned pork, half egg, some veggies, these cost 20 bucks with tips. Come on, that is a rip off. Other than that, the soup is very light favoured, no much taste. I can't image this bowl of noodle cost $20 dollar. No service at all, no one even order the food for you. I mean it is fine for me, I am young. How can the elderly order from your big screen. No offence, if you want your business going, please checkout the Danbo in Robson Vancouver. That is what I call real Ramen.

10/10 will be bringing my boys here next time we are in Victoria! The chicken karage was delicious, fresh, fast and I love that you can customize the bowl. I really enjoyed the individual booths for those who just need a quick meal with the privacy and comfort of your own space. Everything was pretty much automated but the staff were super nice and friendly! The only downside is that it's a touch bit expensive for add-ons, but that's the unfortunate economy we live in. Loved this place, can't wait to try the rest of the menu!
