I recently discovered this hidden gem of a Persian restaurant tucked away in a food court in Victoria's public market , and I'm absolutely thrilled with my find! From the moment I walked up to their counter, I was warmly welcomed by the owners, who provided exceptional customer service.

Despite being in a food court, the ambiance they've created is inviting and authentic, transporting you to the heart of Persia. But what truly stole the show was the food. The flavors in every dish I tried were phenomenal, and it's evident they use fresh, high-quality ingredients.

I ordered the lentil Pita. The taste and textures had me savouring and loving each bite. For the rest of the evening I was craving these flavours. Craving them soo much I returned the very next day and bought another one (today). There is a hint of heat, pickled cabbage in the pita that adds a crunch and elevates the taste of this pita overall. Just so much yumminess. And to top off today's purchase I was given a sample of their lentil soup! It was extremely tasty and there is a slight citrus flavour left in your mouth. It left me wanting the next spoonful right away, each time. Naami's, a newly opened restaurant in Victoria's downtown area, is a delightful addition to the local dining scene. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Meat Lovers and Seasoned Beef Kebab for takeout. The meal came with a fresh salad, warm bread, flavorful tzatziki, and a side of saffron-infused rice. The kebabs were mouthwateringly delicious, and the chicken was equally impressive. The chef's expertise in Mediterranean cuisine truly shone through.
