I recently took the new Vistas and Views Tour and it was fantastic! It was a rainy February day but it didn't matter, because the views were still awe-inspiring and the food was outstanding.

Our guide Holly was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable, answering some tough questions while also providing some memorable stories. At each restaurant, the staff welcomed us warmly and the food was really good.

At the first stop, the outstanding food was equally matched by a waterfront view of the inner harbour including Victoria's famous Parliament Buildings and Empress Hotel. Most people see brussel sprouts on a menu and keep moving on, but I was really happy with my savoury choice, as they were absolutely delicious, pairing nicely with a refreshing lager.

Next, after a brisk and scenic walk across the intriguing "Blue Bridge", we settled into the architecturally-beautiful confines of a historic bank building-turned-restaurant to enjoy a tasty pint and one of the best bowls of pasta I've had in recent memory. The pesto prawn linguini was amazing! We sat in a cozy room that looked like an old study and it had a patio with a unique vista perspective as well.

The final stop on the tour featured a delicious chocolate rum tart and an unmatched birds-eye view of downtown Victoria. From up there, we could see almost anywhere in the city and on a clearer day, across to the Olympic mountains of Washington State. We even spotted where we had started the tour across the harbour, which was a nice full-circle way to end this great little adventure.

I highly recommend taking this tour. The food, drinks, and views were all...

This tour was fantastic -- Andy himself, his food & drink selections, and the history we learned along the way.

Andy was friendly, entertaining and very knowledgeable. You can tell he's incredibly passionate about his city & was excited to share as much info as possible with us in the 2 hours. He told us some great stories about the city, the buildings/streets, and the people.

The food on the tour was delicious, plentiful and perfectly ordered between savory & sweet. Even Andy's intro of the food and the background on the restaurant/owners was so interesting to hear. My partner had the regular tasting & I asked for vegetarian -- I've never had such a great vegetarian experience on a food tour before (in fact, I expected not to be catered for as well, which has generally been the case on my previous food tours, so I ate breakfast right before -- big mistake as I ate a LOT of great food on this tour!).

Andy didn't ask for tips at the end, but we do know it's customary to tip in North America. We didn't have any cash and we assumed there would be an electronic method to tip, but there wasn't, and we've never felt so bad because of just how good Andy & the tour was. We'd highly recommend this tour for both tourists and locals. Thanks for a...

This tour gives you a taste, and a place - a sense of what Victoria is today, and what it has been in history. This tour was worth every part of 5-stars. Andy is an energetic, informative, hard-working, and diligent tour guide who has carefully curated OUTSTANDING stops in Victoria. Andy has a genuine interest in the foods, history, and treats he presents. He exceeding our expectations. On our walking tour of Chinatown and Old Town we enjoyed fabulous meatballs at Roast, Perogies, Macha, Chocolate, and a local Cider, plus more. The pace of the tour is perfect, enough of a break to enjoy the tastes, and brisk enough to stay fresh and enticing. Andy is the best walking tour guide I have ever had, and I think every age could enjoy this wonderful tour. Especially wonderful for tourists looking to learn a bit about the area. Every minute was worthwhile and the amounts of food, walking, and learning...

Our recent experience with A Taste of Victoria Food Tours was absolutely fantastic, largely thanks to our incredible guide, Andy. From start to finish, Andy's passion for Victoria's culinary scene shone through, making the tour not just a tasting, but a truly immersive experience. Andy was incredibly knowledgeable, offering fascinating insights into the history of the city and the stories behind each culinary stop. It was clear he put a great deal of thought and care into selecting the restaurants and food samples. The variety was impressive, seamlessly transitioning from savory to sweet, and everything in between was utterly delicious. Each bite felt like a curated experience, highlighting the best of what Victoria's vibrant food scene has to offer. If you're looking for a fun, informative, and incredibly tasty way to explore Victoria, I highly recommend booking a tour with A Taste of Victoria Food Tours!

We had so much fun with A Taste of Victoria’s Food Tour! Andy was so passionate, taking us to SEVEN of his favourite local gems. I can’t emphasize enough that even as a Victoria local (and dare I call myself a Foodie) I have never been to most of these places! I was BLOWN AWAY at the selection of vendors we visited. Real top notch. Andy has a total of 15 vendors he rotates through and each place always serves up something different, so every tour will vary in the best way possible! After the tour Andy gives you a list of all the places you went, the rest of his vendors to visit on your own, and even discounts to try at other local establishments, just because you went on the tour! We absolutely recommend this tour to anyone, tourist or local!!!
