Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Victoria

I ordered a large original Hawaiian BBQ Chicken pizza at lunchtime today (13 June) to surprise my co-workers. After paying, I opened the box at the counter with the PJP cashier looking on (she seemed to be working alone), my heart sank at the sight of the pizza - it looked pathetic - there were stragglers of pineapple slices, and I had to look closely to see where the chicken bits were, or if there were any at all! I asked the cashier/server (in a well meaning way and in a kind voice) "Does this pizza look appetizing? Would you eat this if it was given to you? " She pointed to the date on the box and said, "Well, it's fresh out of the oven." It cracked me up LOL.. LOL .. I would've taken a picture of the pizza if I was not running late.

I know I embarrassed myself to my co-workers today but I did not have time to go to another place for a better pizza 😔

All the details are in my review. I don't think the mishap can be rectified. I've given the pizza to my co-workers - whether they ate it or not, I don't want to know 😏 But thank you...

I visited the newest P J's on Fort St. Victoria for the first time. I thought 2 slices for $6 was a great deal. What a mistake! Both the Hawaiian and veggies slices were nothing short of horrible. The crust was undercooked, somewhat chewy and not great quality. The Hawaiian had a questionable cheese quality and small pieces of Ham. The Veggie also had a chewy hard to eat crust and again the cheese was not gooHot d. This pizza reminded me of the old Second Slice pizza stores in downtown Victoria that used to sell pizza for $1.99 a slice. Ali Baba, Hot House, The Joint and Villages pizza stores you have nothing to worry about as this American Chain store will be sent back to the USA...

I called the main number and asked if they delivered, and after being told yes, I placed my order. I was told it would be here in 30-40 mins. After an hour, I called back and was told there was no order for me. They told me they dont deliver. I called back and said the website says they do, they told me they would do a special delivery and it would be about 30 minutes. About 40 minutes later, I get 2 orders show up! 1.from the fort st location and 1 from the Mackenzie location. The number I called was the same but apparently dispatch sent it to both locations?? I dont know but it wasnt even good pizza. The delivery drivers were both very nice but terrible set up! Will not order...
