If youâre looking for some dependable sushi, go here. Immediately. It was amazing. Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm welcome, which was already a great start. Surveying the menu, I struggled to pick as everything sounded amazing, but I wound up picking the yam and avocado rolls. The yam tempura inside was perfect. The avocado was impressively fresh, perfectly ripe without a hint of browning and not mushy, something that is rare. In fact, all the ingredients were very fresh, which is a key part of good sushi. The poke bowl was also reported to be amazing by my dining partner - the tofu in particular was some of the best Iâve ever had. So soft and creamy on the inside but perfectly crispy on the outside. Amazing. In addition, it also arrived super fast, brought to our table by a lovely server. Fast service without compromising on quality? Damn. And when we left we were going waved goodbye. Absolute five star experience and will be recommending this place to everyone. Give TOGO a shot and add it to your roster of...
Read moreI would definitely recommend the Salmon Toro Nigeria, Tuna Toro Nigiri and Scallop (Hotate) Nigiri. They are very high level Nigiri here, they are very creamy and melt in your mouth. The highest quality of sushi in the area , I am sure if it. The presentation is great, and i feel like its authentic. I believe the owner is a Japanese lady too. They are very friendly and greet everyone on the way in and out.
I had initially was the Salmon/ Tuna Burrito, it was great but I felt i was still a little bit hungry. I felt the salmon was good quality so I went for the Nigiris as stated above to further investigate which confirmed my suspicion that this place makes legit sushis. Will be back!!.
Edit: went back a second time! I would recommend their Hotate nigiri (raw scallop sushi), Unagi nigiri, Salmon Toro Nigiri, Toro Nigiri. DEFINITELT THE AMAEBI NIGIRI. I did not enjoy the Egg Nigiri . the owner gave me a free seared salmon Nigiri on the house after I...
Read moreWe order from here regularly, and most dishes are consistently delicious! However, we were puzzled by a few dishes: the agedashi tofu was cut huge, the size of a Rubik's cube and tasted like raw flour, very thick batter and not much flavour. Some toppings like tobiko or fried onions would go a long way. We love their rendition of the Futomaki roll and the sunomono salad had generous shrimp, but the tempura sauce is quite sour, more like vinegar than the usually balanced sweet/sour combo. The red dragon roll has a lot going on! If you like lots of sauces and spice, you'll love it. If you like the flavour of the fish to shine and not be hidden behind teriyaki and spicy mayo, that roll is not for you. Definitely worth a try if you are in the neighborhood and...
