Was very dissatisfied and disappointed with this place. Decided to try it out with my group of friends after a day out on the beach and it just went downhill from there. They couldn't move the two tables in the far corner to accomodate our group so we could all sit together. Moving the tables wouldn't have affected any other customers and we were out of the way in a corner, out of traffic lanes for customers and staff walking so it was a bit of a nightmare trying to have conversations across tables and made us so uncomfortable. To top it off they had 0 celiac or gluten free options and they were not willing to substitute or take out ingredients to make something work for me. The waitress was lovely and apologized a lot and let me know that this was head offices decision to not make gluten free accessible foods even though over 50% of the population is now gluten free due to celiac or other conditions. After sitting at the table and watching all of my other friends eat another waitress felt bad and said they could maybe do something so I begged them to just put a grilled chicken breast on top of lettuce. They didn't have a garden salad option so no onions or tomato's or anything. So I asked them to do a ceasar salad without the dressing, croutons and add grilled chicken. They went back and forth to the kitchen over 4 times with questions which I was prepared for and okay with but then they told me that they don't clean their grills so they couldn't guarantee cross-contamination. I was at this point just okay to go with anything so I said fine (I had my supplement pills with me so they can settle my stomach after). I then asked if they clean the grills for anything, the waitress said just at the end of the night. So for all of my vegetarians out there, they put the veggie patties on the same grill that the meat and fish are cooked on and don't clean it đ gross. I asked if they even can scrap the grill after, she said they didn't do that. Double gross. Even greasy spoons have better hygiene standards. I took one bite of the chicken breast and almost immediately felt it hit the bottom of my stomach and I was not well. Took my pills and called it a day. They still had me pay for a full salad plus the chicken đ never coming here again. My friends said their food was decent but they've had better. And the wait times between ordering and getting the food were atrocious, we got there at 8 and didn't leave till 10:30, all we ordered was apps. Def staying away from...
   Read moreWe came in as a family of 8. One of our appetizers were forgotten by the server. Then 2 of our steaks were cooked improperly. Asked the server to bring it back and check the chart as medium rare was requested for both and they came medium well. Server came out twice arguing that we were wrong about the steak and it was medium rare when it was not. A family member gave one steak back and said she didnât want another, the server proceeded to request the chef to make another when she was told no, we would go without and as everyone was half done their meals - she comes out and shoves it in my family members face and is yet again told no. Upon bill request we are told we have to pay 50% of that meal yet nothing was eaten or accepted. Had to ask for management, manager took awhile to come back so we asked another server if he was able to see if the manager could come back and was treated rudely by him. After about 25 minutes talking with the manager we finally got the uneaten meal removed from our bill.
Ontop of this, our server failed to bring napkins when requested, no condiments were brought - we had to get them off the servers station by ourselves. We were then being basically pushed out of the restaurant after the whole steak ordeal as my grandmother in law was still eating her meal - multiple servers tried to request her plate and ask if she was done instead of waiting until she finished eating.
Also came with our 10 month old baby and requested no oil/butter for her grilled cheese, no salt on her fries. Her grilled cheese came out dripping in oil. They did however get her fries right.
Another family member also requested a Heineken zero, aka 0 alcohol and this chucks location took regular Heineken and slapped a 0 label on the bottle. Which is illegal. He got a buzz which would not happen from a 0% alcohol beer.
Another family member went to go to the bathroom and the toilet seat was broken - she reached for the toilet paper and the entire seat slid out. The bolt wasnât even in. So beware of that.
On the way home we all felt sick and bloated, definitely not good quality of food and not good service. Wonât be back to the Wasaga Beach location.
A phone call to head office management was placed and Iâm sure a few other family members will do the same.

This chucks has the world's best manager, food and service.. usually.. this last time I came with my family from out of town, and although manager and food was still amazing, the waitress we had was the worst to date. KATIE L was on the receipt. Where to start.. oh yes.. ok so it was her first shift, this was not the issue, our table had 6 previous servers at it and all completely sympathized. It wasn't the fact that one, that's right, ONE order was wrong out of 12, this was actually impressive and we complimented Katie on that, it was when we mentioned, after taking 1 hour and 15 min to arrive at out table, that the burger she brought was not a double patty (my aunt apologized and said I don't mean to cause a problem because you did such a great job) she immediately threw her hands up and said we were so difficult this evening knowing it was her first shift, we needed to, and I quote.. "CALM DOWN" and be nicer to her.. over one order.. so reluctantly we all stated my understanding burger was not what he ordered and we all heard what he ordered and pointed to on the menu, and she stormed off. Another server came and said ya just make sure you tell her the correct one next time. Stunned we waited another 20 min and it wasn't until the manager came by to check on us that we told her and she went back and instantly it came out. Restaurant had us 12 and maybe 24 others in the rest of the restaurant including bar.. fast forwarding because this is already a novel.. checks came, all kids were on my grandmother's and their parents had theirs and grand mothers. Again manager sorted it out because our server "Katie" wouldn't talk to us. No one left her a tip as we were treated so terribly. She didn't give me the machine, so I went to manager to pay (could have left) and she got Katie to give me the machine, Katie entered numbers and tossed, yes tossed, the machine on the table infront of me. I tapped with zero tip and we left.
I want to clarify, food was great, atmosphere was fun, and manager is a joker, we love her, and I will still recommend this. But if this server is still working here I will not go back and sit in her section.
