Wasaga Rentals — Hotel in Wasaga Beach

We rented this place for our kids for their prom weekend. It was a nightmare! We were over charged, they were not able to check-in on time, when they were finally able to check-in one cottage had a non working bathroom, which we were told was going to be fixed and that they would move them to another cottage once the occupants left the next day. That never happened. It wasn’t complied with until 8pm the next day. When trying to contact the owners they ignored our calls until we threatened to write a bad review and take legal action against them. We had 3 cottages and 4 bunkies and none of the cottages had working hot water. No a/c in the bunkies. You need to bring your own propane to use the bbqs. We were told we would be refunded our deposit and a agreed upon amount for the lack of bathroom in the one cottage. It took them forever to comply with this. Then they tried to say that our kids clogged the toilets and left the place messy. Thank god we took videos of each place before they left and it was much cleaner then when they got there. The customer service from this company is horrible. Be careful if you decide to book here! Especially if it’s for your kids they will...

We booked a family reunion of 40 adults and kids included in September at Costa Wasaga Cottages and we couldn't have imagined a better vacation close to home. Not only were the owners very hospitable and answered any questions we had but the cottages and grounds were impressive !! The cottages we stayed in were very comfortable, spacious; bright and impeccably clean. A home away from home . The grounds itself are clean , organized and a short distance walk from the beach. Very convenient ! . We really liked that property was gated which gave us our privacy for gatherings at night fall. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely book our next reunion if not a family vacation sooner here. Not sure from reading other reviews where they stayed and who they dealt with but definitly not where we were at Costa Cottages and the management we coresponded with was amazing. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone wanting a pleasant ,relaxing and fun...

After staying at Costas Wasaga for 2 nights I can confidently advise others to pick another place to host any of their events. The owner of the cabins caused my group numerous inconveniences and took a month before agreeing to return our security deposit (not the full amount). Prior to arriving to Costas we were told the entire ground would be reserved for us. When we arrived, we only had 6/9 cottages, which was not enough space for our group and caused many of us to sleep in uncomfortable areas due to lack of space. Also, showers only had cold water and poor plumbing. Only one stove worked and the other cottages only contained one mattress and the expectation that guests would sleep on the floor.
