My boyfriend and I came here after doing some Christmas shopping in the area. Unfortunately the food and service was very poor, and for the prices I expected more care to be taken towards the food preparation and customer service. The restaurant was empty, we were not greeted upon walking in, and the attitude from the woman serving us at the till was quite off-putting. She seemed very cold like she just was angry to be serving us. We waited about 15min for our food and once it was prepared the woman behind the counter throws the container on the takeaway area carelessly and goes back to making our second item, the sandwich. A few minutes later she threw the second item on the counter in the same way, turned around didn’t say a single word. Last time I came here I was kindly offered a takeaway bag and napkins with my items, but not this time. It was approximately 7:45pm when we left Chopped Leaf (closes at 8pm) and I noticed the open sign had been shut off - it was on when we arrived. I think she may have been trying to close up early or something and was upset we had come in a half an hour prior to closing. Regardless, her attitude was quite disappointing. When we got home, we noticed the bowl was made with burned rice, like it was from the bottom of the rice cooker, and half the sandwich was destroyed, completely inedible. It looked like the bread was not cut all the way or the bread had stuck to the grill or something and had completely ripped apart, but had been flipped over so the good side was facing up. I’ve attached a photo to explain what I mean. I haven’t been here in almost a year, but I remembered the quality and service being good which is why I came. But after this experience, not sure if I’ll be returning.

Feel good after you eat, definitely a true statement about this place. A co worker and I ordered a build your own bowl, and were surprised with the large portion size. With tons of Fresh, full of colour vegetables to choose from the only thing difficult about coming here is choosing what to want to put together. From fresh vegetables, full of flavor rice and quinoa to home made salad dressing this place is an absolute must try. You feel energize after eating this meal, it was big but full of nutrients that won't slow you down like eating meat. We also got our hands on the cold pressed juice, expensive but you get loads of fresh nutrients. Overall we are very impressed with the staff working, very friendly and quick to get order ready.

The iced teas are delicious, and the build your own salads are great! Although the Evil Peanut dressing is the most popular it's not that good. After 3 bites you'll get tired of the taste. My Avocados were brown and had black spots on them....and by reading the reviews this could seem like a consistent thing. I'll be coming back because the food is delicious, but when I pay extra for avocado I'd hope it's good avocado (the picture doesn't show the bad side, it was all black on the side not in the photo)

I have been to this location maybe 4 times since it has opened. I am not one to generally give low reviews and try to give staff the benefit of the doubt as I have worked in the service industry for years but I am not sure that I will return to this location. The food is great but they really lack in customer service. The first time I went which was probably a month after they had opened I told the cashier it was my first time here and she just looked at me as if I was wasting her time and did not offer any recommendation or say welcome which was off putting. I have gone back a few times hoping the customer service would be better as the food overall has been really good however after going this past Thursday I don’t think I will return. There were 3 staff working I walked in around 7pm their sign said they closed at 9pm and the one gentleman sighed after seeing me walk in and said something along the lines of “ I don’t know what it is about today” to one staff members that was in the back and I could hear him loud and clear at the door and see that he was visibly annoyed. He then proceeded to go to the other female staff member and chat with her some more about the day. There was a customer at the register making his order and another individual that walked in after me and the same staff members signed again. The cashier seemed quiet and did not say much. The woman from the back came to make the orders for myself and the woman behind me and was visibly annoyed as it appeared that they had packed everything up and was pulling baggies out of everything I am not sure if this is how they normally make salads as I have never actually watched. At the end of the day I came in as a paying customer, the staff had not even spoken to me and were somehow annoyed with me. I would not recommend this location if you are keen on good...

We've previously eaten at this location a number of times and the food has always been delicious and the service great. Unfortunately we had a horrible service experience on Sunday August 30 just before 7pm. I walked with my two young and hungry children at 6:50, 10 minutes before closing. The door was open, and the lady behind the counter saw us walk in. There was one family ahead who were ordering and then getting their food made. My kids and I stood and patiently waited for our turn to order. After standing there for 10 minutes, right at 7pm, the lady behind the counter announced that they were closing. I thought she must have been talking to someone who had just poked their head in through the door, so I stayed where I was. A short moment later, she looked up at me and said that she was closing because she's not working overtime. I said that I've been standing here for 10 minutes, but she ignored me, so my hungry kids and I left. We went down the street to Bar Burrito for great food and great service.

I wouldn't have minded if when we walked in 10 minutes before closing, she told us "sorry, the people I'm helping now will be my last customers, as we are closing." I get that - people have lives outside of work. But to watch us stand there for 10 minutes, say nothing while my kids are squirming, and then right at 7pm kick us out, was probably the worst customer service I've personally experienced...
