Ordered a small pita at the counter (I believe it was the owner that took my order), went down to the topping station. When I was asked white or whole wheat, she also added “was that a regular?” I thought the regular was the small, so I said yes. Toppings are on, the owner walks by and starts accusing me “you pay for small why you tell her large.” I was flustered, rebuttaled saying I didn’t know as her voice grew higher and her tone became angrier. She made the young girl transfer the toppings from the large to the small pita and threw it out. I find the amount of meat you receive has dropped compared to the last time I ate at a pita pit, and also with all the burrito boys, and other specialty burrito / Mexican fast food alternatives driving up the standards (I find their quality very high) it leaves Pita Pit looking a bit dull in comparison. This is just my own opinion and may not reflect the opinion of others who eat at this establishment. I am not saying I will never eat there again, I am just saying the competition is stepping it up and its probably time to review your product offering and menu. On two occasions she was grumpy and unfriendly. My girlfriend cheerfully said hello and received no response. We asked for pita chips and she explained to us that they do not have pita chips because they would get wasted. First, they probably cost 25 cents to make. Second, don't make so many bags. We love the pita chips and feel they are a staple at Pita Pit. The owner also watches you while you eat and makes the whole experience uncomfortable. We also found the produce to be not very fresh this last time eating there.
