Poppy's Bagels — Restaurant in Waterloo

Poppy’s Bagels is me and my roommate's absolute favorite go-to spot — we’re so excited there's a location at the mall now! It makes our shopping trips 100x better knowing we can stop by for the best bagels around. The Kyrie bagel is our fave (seriously, if you haven’t tried it, you're missing out), and nothing hits quite like an iced strawberry matcha to go with it.

We have been a fan since the original location opened however it was a bit of a drive for us, so we didn't get to go in to often. When we heard, it was coming to Conestoga Mall, we were ecstatic. We typically get the Kyrie and Poppy however my husband decided to try the bonjourrr and he said it was absolutely delightful. We also tried their coffee for the first time and my husband added pumps of caramel (his favorite) and I'm not kidding when I say he said yum after every single sip. Highly recommend the "big tuna" bagel sandwich. I love that they are accommodating in terms of removing things of the sandwich you don't want. Prices are a little hefty but it's a nice treat once in a while and the food is filling. Service was good, a couple issues processing a gift card but it was no big deal . I like that they strictly make sure it's obvious you won't be getting your food as quick as a fast food place like Tim's but in fact since everything is made fresh, it's going to take a little bit.
