Hello, today 09.11.2025 I was at Starbucks in Conestoga Mall. I was really dissatisfied with the service. I showed my order in the photo and waited for the employee to fully enter it into the system. When I received it, I noticed that my order was not finished. There was a matcha foam in the order, to which I asked the barista "did you add the foam for me?". The answer was very harsh. I was told "you have to pay for it!" As I said, my drink should give foam, it's not finished. To which I heard "but I don't see foam in the sticker". I asked again, if they can add the foam to my drink, as I originally asked. The blonde barista told me again, "you have to pay for it!". Honestly, it was rude, I didn't refuse to pay extra for the foam, you just don't have to answer so sharply and defend yourself. I just asked, if they added it or not. I was told to come and pay extra for the foam. I came up and a young girl said, “there was no foam in your order, so I didn't add it." The foam was in my order on the picture, and I showed it to her again. To which I heard "Oh, I'm sorry". So, 3 times I was accused of my order, not to take responsibility for my actions as worthy workers. It's not my fault that they didn't complete my order, I don't like that I was accused of allegedly my problem 3 times. I asked nice if they could complete my order, and I know perfectly well that I have to pay extra. No need to shout about it at the whole Starbucks twice. I'll attach a photo of the order. Hope the service will be nicer and...
Read moreCozy little Starbucks just off of Indigo Conestoga Mall. Friendly staff, open early mornings at 7am. The first store in the whole mall to open. Think Starbucks is always full of rich, ahem, snooty people? This one certainly isn't! It's a normal, casual atmosphere and yet still cozy. Features a small sitting area with multiple charging ports for laptops and phones built into the benches around the side of the room, as well as a cozy little nook by the window for a little bit more privacy if desired. Also has dedicated washrooms and serves the standard Starbucks beverages as well as light snacks, desserts and sandwiches among other things. I find the lighting to be a bit bright in comparison to some locations I've been to with cozy mood lighting, but overall it's a great place to stop for a drink and chat in...
Read moreThe drink was fine and usually the service is great but today the barista (Maddy) was rude and made me feel really uncomfortable. I had my service dog with me and she asked if he’s wearing a vest (which I have never been asked before by a Starbucks employee or anywhere else) and I said no because It’s really hot out and I don’t want him to get sick and A vest doesn’t mean anything, you can get them off of Amazon!
I told her that I have my doctors note and when I showed her she started frowning, giving me a dirty look, and being very short with me. I felt so uncomfortable that I honestly wanted to leave without getting my drink. This store needs to have a talk with their employees because this experience has now made me hesitant to ever go back to...
