I feel very bad for the staff here, especially the new hires, the older workers talk very rude to the staff when training them. I have noticed this a few times. The manager is clearly ill-equipped to manage a restaurant as this is one of the worst/slowest/most disorganized tim hortons I have been to. Just before Christmas (Dec 2018) I had excitedly went in to buy one of their pre-packaged gift packs with dark roast beans and a cup which had a price listed right on the outside of the package. When I went to cash to pay, the lady entered in a much higher price, I told her the price was right there on the package and she proceeded to tell me that is not the price, that she knew the actual price. I asked to speak with a manager (she told me she was the manager) because if there is a price listed on the package - that is most certainly the price the customer should and will be paying but she would not honour that. She was incredibly rude to me in tone and choice of words and would not honour the very price that was listed on every single one of the packaged gifts that was sitting there. Horrendous customer service and I have not and will not go back or support this particular tim hortons again. Consider getting a new manager as there are serious shortfalls with the...
Read moreI do not think I have ever gotten a correct order from this Tim’s. I was trying to order a BLT and specified to the cashier that I just wanted bacon ,lettuce, tomato and mayo. She then proceeded to ask me if I want a sausage or bacon belt. I let her know that I am looking for a BLT (like the lunch sandwich) and she seemed to have understood what I was trying to say. The screen at the cash is broken so I could not see what she was putting in. After waiting for my food, I am handed a belt on the artisanal loaf. I have never returned a sandwich before but I really hate Tim’s eggs and asked if they could make a new one with no egg. The staff member who made my new sandwich had to clarify with me (twice) that I in fact just wanted bacon lettuce tomato, and not a Belt. Make sure you do not attempt to order from this location off of Uber eats either cause you will get an order of whatever they interpret the delivery request says. If you ask for no sauce on something- expect the most sauce you’ve had in your life. Want a specific kind of sandwich? They will graciously surprise you with a random sandwich of their choosing that maybe has one similar ingredient to the one you are ordering. Horrible service but very conveniently...
Read moreUsually go to this location after my workout. Make an order and leave.
Here I was waiting to meeting my sister. So I pulled out my phone to answer some e-mails, while I wait for her.
Today, What looked to be the management of "30 + years" as he said, was kicking anyone who was sitting before ordering.
And this men asked me to order. Mind you, I was in the building for less than 3 mins IF THAT.
What happening Tim Hortons ?
My entire life, I have NEVER experience this at ANY location.
His response to this was, "Well we've been having issues with problematic people."
I am a 4'11" woman, by myself. Sitting, waiting upon someone to arrive. How am I the problematic people?
Deal with those particular customers. Harassing people to order right away is appalling.
I then told him he needed better customer service.
Him - Yes, Sir. Me - I'm not a Sir. I'm a ma'am.
I know you'll read this and know who wrote it. You shouldn't be in this industry if harassing people to order something is your way to run a business.
Not even at a "sit down" restaurant would they harassed anyone within 2, 3 minutes of being there, to order food.
On that note.
Have a great day Ma'am Oh...
